Pixar Pals Parking Structure Construction

Construction continues on the Pixar Pals Parking Structure, which is set to open this summer. The structure is adjacent to the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure, and it’s fairly easy see what’s going on while you’re making your way out of that structure.

Downtown Disney Updates

Stroller Size Checks

are available in a few locations in Disneyland’s Esplanade/Security check areas.

This one is located near tram loading so you can check size before you even leave the parking area.

And this one is adjacent to the bag check and body scanner.

You’ll also find a “Rules Update” flyer at security.

Black Tap Craft Burgers and Shakes opened last week, and there’s been a line to get in every time we’ve walked by!

Disneyland Park News

There’s a new Guide Map in Disneyland Park.

Over in Tomorrowland, Alien Pizza Planet‘s exterior is under construction and now covered in scrims.

There’s still lots of seating outside, and the restaurant is open.

We spotted a new mural being painted in the Park, too!

California Adventure Park News

Over in California Adventure Park, there are new Guide Maps as well. (We showed you these a few days ago.) They feature Donald Duck and celebrate the opening of Mickey’s Philharmagic in the Park.

We took a ride on the Pixar Pal-A-Round to give you bird’s eye view of construction in California Adventure. The Silly Symphony Swings are undergoing some work.

And we can see that construction is definitely a work in progress in the upcoming superhero/Marvel-themed land that’s anchored by Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT!

And the bright purple pieces of Emotional Whirl Wind are being put in place.

We saw these from the ground, too.

The Disney Channel Fan Fest was happening on our visit. Attendees got these colorful buttons.

And a parade of characters and actresses and actors from your favorite Disney Channel series rolled by, too!

So fun and energetic!

Disneyland Resort Merchandise News

There’s plenty of merchandise news from Disneyland Resort, too. We spotted the Disney Monopoly game in World of Disney.

And the “I’m here for the…” shirt series is now on the west coast! (We spotted them in Disney World a while back!)

At The Dress Shop, guests can pick up the cutest purse ever made: the Grape Soda Purse. See our look at this adorable bag here!

Disney Clothiers has a few new shirts. Mickey Balloon Makers and Castle Fireworks Brand give a retail vibe to some park icons.

And the Tomorrowland Dreamer Society and Pixie Dust Supply Co. are fun, too!

At Mad Hatter, you can find the super-fun Donald Duck Headband! See our look at these when we found them in Magic Kingdom earlier this week!

And at Knick Knacks, guests can now buy the Bo Peep Backpack by LoungeFly.
