Whew, after a long day of reviews we thought it might be nice to sit back and relax with a cocktail (which we have to review anyway, so we’re not really sitting back and relaxing at all…but let us have this, OK?).
Hollywood Studios has released a TON of treats today in celebration of their 30th Anniversary, including Incredibles Macarons and Lightsaber Churros. And next up is what SOUNDS to be a whole lot of fun in a glass — the Banana Split Cocktail.
This one includes Vanilla Vodka, Crème de Cacao, Crème de Banana, Strawberry Monin, and Pineapple Juice. Sounds incredible, right?! Super sweet! Dessert-in-a-glass!
And it was…fine. But we’ve reviewed better cocktails.
Yep, very sweet. Somewhat refreshing. But we didn’t get all the flavors — we could barely taste the banana after the first sip — and it’s a Banana Split Cocktail…shouldn’t it taste more like bananas? We can’t help but think it would have been about 10x better taste- and texture-wise if it had been a frozen cocktail. What did YOU think if you tried it?
You can find the Banana Split Cocktail at walkup bars throughout Hollywood Studios for $14.50. And like the rest of the 30th Anniversary treats, it’ll only be available for a limited time!
