If you book a vacation at WDW, you MUST book your “special meals” at locations 6 months ahead of time BUT you can not secure your attraction “FAST PASSES” until 3 months before your visit dates. So, why tell people in this video blog, to do the exact opposite thing or “FAST PASSES” first, and then meal reservations afterward? By that time,or 3 months before your visit date, ALL the places you wanted to eat at will no longer have any time slots open that will correlate with your “FAST PASSES”…..Understand?
Grumpy, AJ did say take advantage of the hopper pass ability to visit parks you finally get your fp at and then be able to eat at a different park you made your “special meal” reservations 6 mos ahead. Her point was, get your most difficult fp furthest out in your trip where others who will not be 60 days out yet, won’t have access to yet. Don’t do it chronological. Get the most difficult fp the latest day(s) of your trip and work backwards. Obviously you have to make your dining reservations 6 mos out, and then if no hopper you are forced to pray you get your fp in same park as your dining reservations, if they occur in a park. I used to make the most difficult in park dining latest as well to sync up with getting the most difficult fp’s if didn’t have hopper. Otherwise, go with most difficult non-park dining option latest so it doesn’t dictate ability of getting most difficult fp’s.
