We’re back at Big Top Treats in Magic Kingdom for MORE snacks inspired by the lovable Dumbo!

Recently, we tried the “Popcorn” Caramel Apple, and now we’re back for the Dumbo Cupcakes in the Big Top’s confection case.

Chocolate and vanilla are your choices, which sounds pretty basic. But things get more interesting as you look closer.

The chocolate cupcake, for instance, is topped with peanut butter buttercream frosting, and peanuts of both the real (chopped) and candy variety.

Clearly, it’s hard to beat anything topped with that famous, delicious peanut butter buttercream, but especially when it comes to the classic combination of peanut butter and chocolate.

The vanilla cupcake is a little more visually striking, topped with bright blue buttercream, sprinkles, and white chocolate versions of Dumbo’s hat and feather.

But there is no flavor combo here to mention. It’s all classic vanilla throughout. It’s a good, decent vanilla cupcake, but we couldn’t help thinking it would’ve been great as a confetti cupcake to match the colorful toppings!

A few things to note: these Dumbo-inspired items are not guaranteed after the end of this month, and some may disappear as early as April 27th. Plus, the cupcakes in particular are selling out quickly each day. They sometimes get a second batch in the afternoon, but there are no guarantees, so find your way under the Big Top as soon as you can during your Magic Kingdom visit to find them!
