Disney Partners with Mondo To Create Pins, Tikis, and MORE!

If you love Disney collectibles, get ready to step up your game! The powerhouse collectible company Mondo has announced a partnership with Disney and gave us a sneak peek at the first items to come from this collaboration.

Mondo is well known for its limited edition collectible items like movie posters, vinyl film soundtracks, apparel, enamel pins and more. For this Disney collaboration, fans can expect new pins to be released monthly. Mondo is kicking things off with a Sorcerer Mickey and a 90th Anniversary Mickey enamel pin, with pins inspired by the large collection of Disney films and TV shows to follow.

Mondo will also be releasing limited edition tiki mugs as part of it’s Mondo Tee-Ki line. The first mugs to be released are Sorcerer Mickey and Scrooge McDuck. Future mugs will feature characters from The Lion King and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Mondo creative director for toys/collectibles Brock Otterbacher even teased a few “fun items” to come, which we expect will include apparel, games, and more.

“Imagination is often associated with Disney, and rightfully so. Through their films, animated classics, and characters, Disney’s pantheon has inspired generations, old and young, to dream big,” Brock Otterbacher said in a statement. “For us here at Mondo, it’s no different. We’ve all had our imagination stirred by Disney in one form or another in the work we do — whether it’s to design better, dig deeper for inspiration, or just add more heart. With this in mind, we couldn’t be more proud of what we’re bringing to both Disney and Mondo fans alike. From our pins and tiki mugs, as well as other fun items down the line, we’re taking our cue from Walt himself — ‘If you can dream it, you can do it.’”

The pins are currently available for sale on Mondo’s website and the tiki mugs will be available soon.
