The Lion King
is celebrating its 25th anniversary and Disney Parks are getting in on the festivities with celebrations going on now in Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom and coming soon to Disney California Adventure Park!
Rafiki is ready to party!
California Adventure will celebrate the Disney animated classic with storytellers, dancing, craft activities and more! This celebration, “honoring the spirit of Africa”, will only be around for a limited time this summer. Hopefully we’ll get some limited edition eats as well????

The live-action adaptation of The Lion King features an all-star cast, including Beyonce, Donald Glover and James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa. The Jon Favreau-directed film hits theaters July 19, 2019.
