We just got a sneak peek at the brand new “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” starting in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom this Friday, January 18 — and we can’t wait to see the parade in person now!

In previous announcements we learned this would be a high-energy, interactive parade celebrating all things Mickey and Minnie Mouse in a Main Street, U.S.A. street party. A new video just posted by Disney gives a behind the scenes look at the prep for this parade, the redecorated floats, and more!

The “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” will be a throwback to the atmosphere of the Mickey Mouse Club with a mixture of dancers, music, Disney characters, and live singers all performing and celebrating together.

This is the first time a Disney street party will have live singers — and we’re promised we won’t be able to sit still when we watch this parade — we’ll be up and dancing along with everyone else!

The floats being used in the “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” are the same ones that were in the “Move it! Shake it! Dance & Play It!” parade — but they have been dressed up and have new decorations on them to go with the theme of the new party.
