Reservations — And Opening Date! — Now Available for Gran Destino Tower at Disney World’s Coronado Springs Resort!

Last week it was announced that r eservations for the new Gran Destino Tower coming to Disney World’s Coronado Springs Resort would be opening up for guests today.

Though it was announced that those dates would be available starting in July 2019, an official opening date had not been revealed. But now that bookings have opened, we have one!

July 9, 2019 is the date when guests may start checking into the Gran Destino Tower, with reservations opening today.

Below you’ll see newly released concept art for the standard guests rooms.

The Tower will feature 545 guest rooms (including 50 suites), a rooftop restaurant, and serve as the main entrance to the resort.

And a second restaurant, Villa del Lago, is currently under construction in the middle of the resort’s 14-acre lake, Lago Dorado, with walkways across the water to reach the location.

As of this morning, reservations were not yet available via the Disney World website (though we imagine that will be updated shortly). However, Cast Members are available to assist at 407-W-Disney. You may also want to contact your Travel Agent (we recommend Small World Vacations — see why here!).
