It’s no secret Hollywood Studios (and all of us) are getting ready for Star Wars Land Galaxy’s Edge to open next fall. And, now it looks like Tatooine Traders, the gift shop attached to the Star Tours ride, is in the middle of a face lift to be ready for the Galaxy’s Edge opening!

Disney has not announced what the refurbishments are or a timeline for the construction.

All of the current refurbishment is being done of the left hand side of the store as you walk in from the park.

The refurbishment area takes up a significant portion of the shop, and this may explain the extra Star Wars merchandise we spotted in the newly re-opened, refurbished Muppets Stage One Shop.

This gets us even more excited for what is to come in the next year at Galaxy’s Edge, including Oga’s Canteen, Millennium Falcon attraction and so much more. We’ll keep peeking over that wall in Toy Story Land to keep you updated with the progress!
