Hey, Disneylanders! If you’re in the mood for some aromatic holiday cheer, make your way to the Grand Californian, where the hotel’s Holiday Gingerbread House is again completed!

The pastry chefs (and in this case, they can also be considered construction workers and engineers, I’d say!) have been hard at work in the lobby, constructing a beautiful Craftsman-inspired replica of the hotel itself once again for 2017, with perfect shaping and details!

And if you look closely at the white chocolate and peppermint ‘stonework’, you’ll even spot a tasty Hidden Mickey!

And the details are so cool — colorful and thoughtful and darn impressive! Don’t these ‘Munks look mischievous?

Yep — it includes 600 pounds of gingerbread, ditto for the powdered sugar, and one full pound of GLITTER (or “Pixie Dust”!)

Our DFB Pal Claire reports that guests can also purchase gingerbread men, hotel-made truffles, and a warm alcoholic beverage at a table nearby. So if you’re not staying on-site or even going into a park, you can still linger and enjoy this holiday treat for the eyes and the tastebuds!
