News: Morimoto Asia to Host Craft Beer Dinner with Crooked Can Brewing Company on March 3

, Disney Springs’ newest restaurant, is wasting no time getting to know local providers. They have just announced that next month, they’ll hold a Craft Beer Dinner with Cooked Can Brewing Company of Winter Garden, Florida!

The event is being held to celebrate Hanami, or the annual tradition of cherry blossom viewing in Japan. It’s a special time when friends and family gather for parties under the beautiful trees, which only blossom for a short time each Spring. (Epcot Flower and Garden Festival lovers will recognize Hanami as the name of Japan’s Outdoor Kitchen, and home to the popular Frushi!)

But even more exciting for beer lovers — the dinner will serve to debut a brand new offering from Crooked Can. The craft brewery has created their Cherry Blossom Kolsch exclusively for Morimoto Asia. The brew will only be available for a limited time.

The menu looks pretty spectacular. Here’s a rundown of what guests will enjoy during the evening.

First Course
Spring Collection of Shellfish Ceviche: Alaskan king crab, Washington State mirugai, Maine Uni, salmon roe, and bean thread noodle
Paired with: Crooked Can Cherry Blossom Kolsch

Second Course
Duo of Duck: Morimoto Peking duck served with flour pancakes, hoisin miso, apricot-chili, and scallions;
Consomme with daikon, carrot, and foie gras
Paired with: Crooked Can Bock Humbug

Third Course
Trio of Chicken Satays: Chicken skins with yuzu-kosho and Himalayan salt; Boneless chicken wings in a spicy garlic glaze; Chicken thigh with peanut sauce and cilantro
Paired with: Crooked Can McSwagger’s Amber Ale

Fourth Course
Domestic Wagyu Sirloin “Ishiyaki”: Grilled at tableside with kimchi fried rice cake, smoked soy, and fresh wasabi
Paired with: Crooked Can Stout

Fifth Course
“Taiyaki”: Japanese style pancake stuffed with sweet azuki beans, served with matcha gelato
Paired with: Crooked Can Cloud Chaser Hefeweizen
