One of my favorite times of the year in Walt Disney World will start happening soon, as we start to see all of the decor, souvenirs, and especially food items that announce “Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!”

The Holidays are Almost Here in Magic Kingdom!

It seems like everywhere you look during November and December, the Parks and Resorts transform to a (warm) Winter Wonderland! And it’s enough to make the kid inside me giddy.

Fun souvenirs capturing the spirit of the holidays are everywhere. Don’t forget to add to your Souvenir Popcorn Bucket stash! And Elf Mickey is pretty awesome.

But this is a detail that I LOVE. Even the soda cups get dressed up for the holidays around here!

Of course, you only have to look as far as the nearest confectionery case to get into the spirit properly. They’re filled with the colors of the season.

This Mickey Caramel Apple is sparkled up to look just like the pretty glass Mickey Christmas Tree Ornaments that you spy in gift shops.

And don’t forget the Mickey Macarons! The light and airy sandwich cookies have great star power. While they’re not nearly as tasty as the real deal macarons in the France Pavilion at Epcot, they’re still lovely to look at.

But bags of Peppermint Bark, tied with bright red and green satin ribbons, are another matter altogether. Delicious!
