Marceline’s in Downtown Disney
is hopping with Easter treats!
The adorable Easter Bunny Caramel Apples have made a comeback, along with some fun new yummies that include Mickey Easter Egg Cake Pops and Mickey Easter Grass & “Egg” themed treats.
Mickey Easter Egg Cake Pops
Adorable as can be, these Easter Eggs are as tasty as they are cute.
The moist cake is dipped in white chocolate, then decorated with sanding sugar, and topped with chocolate Mickey ears. They come in chocolate, vanilla & red velvet.
We went with chocolate, because it was the only flavor they had left in these ones.
And just a little FYI, I learned that you don’t have to ask a cast member what flavors are available. Just peek at the tips. A white tip means vanilla, black is chocolate and red is red velvet!
Mickey Easter Grass with “Eggs” Cake Pop
A little more bang for your buck, this Mickey Mouse Easter Grass with “Eggs” Cake Pop is quite a bit larger than the Easter Egg Cake Pops.
At $4.19 a piece (the same price as the Easter Egg cake pops), you get a little more for your money.
Available in chocolate, vanilla & red velvet, the Mickey ears are made from marshmallows while a bed of dyed coconut Easter grass serves as the base for the Jelly Belly Easter Eggs that top it. We chose vanilla since our last two were chocolate.
Mickey Easter Grass with “Eggs” Rice Krispy Treat
Your standard Rice Krispy treat on a stick topped with dyed coconut Easter Grass and Jelly Belly Eggs.
I actually preferred this one over the cake pop. The combination of Krispy Treat and Coconut was pretty great!
Overall
Overall, I love this year’s new Easter Treats. The Easter Egg Cake Pops are just so darn adorable, and that Rice Krispy Treat with coconut Easter grass is pretty tasty.
Easter treats can be enjoyed through the month of April and can be found at Marceline’s in Downtown Disney, Candy Palace and Pooh Corner at Disneyland, and as Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure.
So, get out there and grab an Easter treat, and then go and visit this adorable couple all dressed up in their Easter best!
Have you tried any of the Springtime Treats from the Disneyland Resort? Do you have a favorite?
