If you are visiting Walt Disney World with a vegetarian in your group, or if you’d simply like to enjoy “Meatless Mondays” Disney-style during your vacation, you can easily enjoy LOTS of flavorful cuisine around the Resort!

Vegetarians often find eating at Walt Disney World to be relatively easy and plentiful (and with the addition of 400+ plant-based menu items and the plant-based logo, it is now more straightforward for vegans to dine in the World, too).

As a general rule, if you don’t see an option that sounds palatable to you on a restaurant’s menu, ask your server or the counter service cast member for assistance. Often, they’ll readily give you a list of items that aren’t noted on the menu and/or help you customize your meal appropriately.

And as of October 2019, table service restaurants at Walt Disney World started to use the plant-based leaf logo to identify plant-based dishes.

Simply “Look for the Leaf,” like the one you see pictured above next to the Charred Eggplant entree at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom.

You can also trust that restaurants featuring All-You-Care-to-Enjoy prix-fixe meals can easily accommodate vegetarians guests without any advance notice.

These include spots such as ‘Ohana, Garden Grill Restarant, Sebastian’s Bistro, and Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review.

Posted menus at Quick Service restaurants also use the leaf icon to designate plant-based dishes.

In this example from Animal Kingdom’s Flame Tree Barbecue, you’ll notice the leaf icon designating the Plant-Based Burnt Ends.

If you are dining at a Quick Service location that accepts Mobile Order, you can also keep your eyes peeled for the Plant-based icon in the menu sorting options as seen in the top row in our example below, and it will lead you directly to all of the plant-based options at the location.

EPCOT Seasonal Festivals

EPCOT hosts four seasonal Festivals throughout the year: the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts (the first Festival of the calendar year), Spring’s EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, the original EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

Vegetarian guests can “Look for the Leaf” on every Festival menu to find plenty of options!
