There are a few dining spots in Disney World that never seem to be open…at least when I’m in Disney World! I wanted to write some posts highlighting these restaurants, and letting folks know — when they’re open, try them! — because you might not get another chance!
Tortuga Tavern in Magic Kingdom
The following locations are seasonal, meaning they’re typically only open during the busiest times of the year in Disney World, like Spring Break and over the Holiday Season

Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant: When open, this Tomorrowland spot serves up counter service eats to enjoy on an open-air, shaded terrace with wonderful views of Cinderella Castle!

Tomorrowland Terrace currently serves as the location for the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Viewing Parties in the evenings, and you can learn more about these add-on experiences here.

Tortuga Tavern: Channel your inner Pirate! Tortuga Tavern welcomes you to a quaint Caribbean village tucked in Adventureland at this seasonally-open eatery serving – as the sign says — “Grub and Grog!”

As of July 2024, this spot is serving as a de facto merchandise location as Adventureland prepares for a Pirate-themed Tavern!
