We hope you’re not forgetting about Disney World’s NEW Villains Land, because we sure haven’t!

When Villains Land at Magic Kingdom was OFFICIALLY announced in 2024 after tons of speculation, Disney fans collectively lost their minds in excitement — and rightfully so. Disney showed us concept art, teased some features the new land might include, got us hyped…and then went extremely quiet about the project. Aside from some proposed designs from Disney Imagineers that might be incorporated into the land, we still don’t know that much more about Villains Land than when it was announced two years ago. So that begs the question…when are we actually going to learn more?

NEWS: Disney World Quietly Changes Wording for Disability Access Service Program

There has been a slight change to Disney’s Disability Access Service, also known as DAS.

The DAS program is a program designed for those with developmental disabilities that make them unable to wait in lines for extended periods. This service has experienced some major changes throughout the last year. Now, there is another subtle change removing the word “only” when referring to who the program is intended for.

The expo is a huge fan event where Disney holds panels, makes big announcements, shows off exclusive merchandise, and more. At this year’s expo, we found out things like a new restaurant coming to Disneyland, an expansion happening at Avengers Campus, and a bunch of release dates for various movies and TV shows. We also got a lot of opening dates for things in the Disney Parks! So, let’s take a look at ALL of the opening dates that were announced at D23 Expo!

NEWS: Hong Kong Disneyland Announces Reopening Date

To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact a Disney Parks visit.

Hong Kong Disneyland has gone through multiple closures and reopenings since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The most recent closure was originally scheduled to begin on January 7th, 2022, and was supposed to last just over one month, but was then extended through April 20th, an additional two months. We expected this to mean the park would reopen again on April 21st, but Disney hadn’t officially made an announcement — until now!
