Planning a trip to Disneyland Resort? Then you’ll want to be IN THE KNOW about Disneyland’s Lightning Lanes!

Disneyland’s Lightning Lanes provide access to “Lightning Lanes” for rides so guests can bypass Standby lines for select attractions through an extra purchase made on the Disneyland app. This optional service helps guests maximize their time in the Disneyland Resort theme parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.

There are three types of Lightning Lane services available for purchase:

• Lightning Lane Multi Pass; 
• Lightning Lane Single Pass;
• And Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

Lightning Lane Single Pass

For guests wishing to ride Disneyland’s most popular attractions without a wait in the traditional standby line, Lightning Lane Single Pass is a separate paid upcharge from the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Lightning Lane Single Pass allows guests to select return times to enter the Lightning Lane for a maximum of two specific, in-demand attractions.

Which Rides Are Available with Lightning Lane Single Pass?

The TWO attractions available with a Lightning Lane Single Pass in Disneyland Resort are:

• Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland
• Radiator Springs Racers in Disney California Adventure

Prices vary by date. Here is a look at the price range we have seen so far for the rides that qualify for pay-per-ride in Disneyland.  

• Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance — $20 – $25 per person
• Radiator Springs Racers — $7 – $18 per person

The price populates within the Disneyland app so it can be seen prior to purchasing.

When Can I Purchase Lightening Lane Single Pass?

Lightning Lane Single Pass selections can be made upon entering either Disneyland Resort theme park.

How Do I Purchase Lightening Lane Single Pass?

Navigate to the Tip Board in the Disneyland app to select and purchase your preferred Lightning Lane experience/s and times!

How Do I Use Lightning Lane Single Pass in the Parks?

After reserving your first Multi Pass selection, simply head to the entrance for your scheduled time. You’ll see a Lightning Lane entrance sign. (Just ask a Cast Member if you don’t find it easily.)

Before you officially enter the queue, you’ll scan your valid park ticket (either an actual hard ticket or the barcode stored in the Disneyland app on your phone upon purchase) or your linked MagicBand+ by simply pressing it against the scanner. And then?

You’re in the LIGHTNING LANE and ready to ride!
