Want to enjoy DISNEYLAND after everyone else has called it a day? Disneyland After Dark events are separately ticketed events that take place after regular park hours on select nights, so guests can enjoy fewer crowds, lower wait times for rides, and more.

And the events are THEMED, adding to the fun! The themes are reflected in special entertainment, Disney character encounters, exclusive photo opportunities, foods and drinks, unique merchandise, and more. Additionally, each After Dark event includes a commemorative gift and guide map, and unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass digital photos taken during the event.

Each event officially lasts for four hours. Ticket holders may take advantage of early entry from 6PM to 9PM (a 3-hour “pre-party park mix-in” included with After Dark admission) before the After Dark event begins at 9PM. Disneyland is introducing a NEW theme in 2026, in addition to four returning themed nights.

So, get ready to stay up past your bedtime for Disneyland…. AFTER DARK!

NEW in 2026 — Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites

Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites is an all-new theme for 2026, as part of the 70th Anniversary Celebration of Disneyland Resort!

Disney promises “nostalgic entertainment, iconic Disney characters, irresistible bites and drinks, and so much more—all inspired by 7 decades of Disneyland magic” for the event!

In addition to after-hours attraction access, exclusive food and merchandise available for purchase, and unique photo backdrops, 70 Years of Favorites offers the following entertainment: 

• Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace
  Be immersed in the neon nostalgia of the ‘80s as Tomorrowland Terrace transforms into the ultimate throwback dance party, featuring a live DJ, nonstop ‘80s hits and iconic retro décor.
• Line Dancing at The Golden Horseshoe
  Hey Howdy Hey! Join a toe-tapping tribute to Woody’s Round Up in Frontierland’s most iconic venue—where music, characters and western fun come together in a rootin’ tootin’ good time.
• Custom Projections
  Relive the wonder of 70 years of Disneyland magic—where every decade sparkles with unforgettable Disney Characters, shows and attractions.

The following Disney Characters will also make appearances:

• Mickey Mouse and pals
• Disney Princesses
• Some favorite “Long Lost Friends” from The Disney Afternoon
• Mother and Father from the attraction Carousel of Progress
• Merlin from The Sword in the Stone
• Flik from A Bug’s Life
• Atta from A Bug’s Life
• Fantasmic! Monkeys

Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite

Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite celebrates the eras of Disney Channel. There will be special entertainment, exclusive characters, and plenty of music!

In addition to after-hours attraction access, exclusive food and merchandise available for purchase, and unique photo backdrops, Disney Channel Nite offers the following entertainment: 

She’ll be joined by Kim Possible, Lilo & Stitch, and more. Then there’s the high-energy street show “High School Musical – ZOMBIES Pep Rally.” Practice your most wicked moves at “DescenDANCE” along the Rivers of America. “Disney Channel Rocks” is a concert-style show celebrating hit songs from the Disney Channel. You’ll also find a “Camp Rock Sing-Along” at the Golden Horseshoe. Disney shares the following about the offerings:

Photo ops will include backgrounds from your fave Disney Channel shows, including a new High School Musical photo op. Go Wildcats! If you get hungry, some special food will also be available:

• Loaded dino nuggies at Red Rose Taverne, The Golden Horseshoe, and Stage Door Café
• Ice cream naco at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor (New)
• Agent P churro at Churros near Sleeping Beauty Castle, Churros near Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, and Churros near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (New)
• Specialty menu available at River Belle Terrace

Merchandise will include a light-up headband, hoodie, and trading pin.

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite

Celebrate the Force during Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite! The night features character gatherings, out-of-this-galaxy photo ops, and more.

Ticket holders will get to see Captain Phasma and her First Order Stormtroopers in “The March of the First Order” in Tomorrowland. Learn how to wield a lightsaber at the Lightsaber Instructional. Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes, aka the Cantina Band, will make special performances during the evening on Rivers of America. Special character appearances include Darth Maul, an Ewok, a Jawa, Queen Amidala, and more. Photo ops include themed Star Wars planet backgrounds, Boba Fett’s throne, and more.

New food is coming to Star Wars Nite, too, including:

• Pizza five-blossom bread at Oga’s Cantina
• Galactic Bundt cake at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe and Galactic Grill
• Banth-gogi at Edelweiss Snacks and Maurice’s Treats

Merchandise includes a zip-up hoodie, tee, hat, tumbler, and pin.

Disneyland After Dark: Sweetheart’s Nite is returning to Disneyland park! Sweethearts’ Nite is a celebration of your sweetheart, whether that be a valentine, spouse, family member, or best friend.

In addition to after-hours attraction access, exclusive food and merchandise available for purchase, and unique photo backdrops, Sweethearts’ Nite offers the following entertainment: 

• Celebrate Love Cavalcade (New!)
