UPDATED December 2, 2025
A seasonal celebration for Dia de los Muertos takes place each fall at Disney California Adventure: Plaza de la Familia! This annual event — which will return from August 21st through November 2nd, 2026 — offers live music and entertainment, interactive activities, special menu items and novelty souvenirs (like POPCORN BUCKETS!), and vibrant decorations.
These elements and more come together “to celebrate the everlasting bonds of family and the spirit of the Mexican tradition of Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead.”
A Musical Celebration of ‘Coco’
Don’t miss the Storytellers of the Plaza de la Familia as they present The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate The Musical World of Coco!
You’ll get to enjoy some iconic musical moments from Coco like “Remember Me” and The World Es Mi Familia,” as well as the Mexican folk song “La Llorona,” and more.
Even Miguel joins in the storytelling, as he appears as a “hand-animated dimensional figure” to delight guests during the performance!
Be sure to check the Disneyland App for showtimes.
