Disney World’s NEW Meet and Greet Just Opened EARLY

Quick! We’ve got a little Zootopia joke for you, Disney fans. What do you call it when you’re trying to fast-walk to Flight of Passage at rope drop in Disney World? Well, to quote Nick Wilde, “It’s called a hustle, sweetheart.” 🥁 ANYWAY! We’re here with some exciting news: the NEW Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde meet-and-greet has opened EARLY in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and we were among the first in line to check it out.

This new meet-and-greet coincides with the grand opening of the new Zootopia: Better Zoogether! show, located in the Tree of Life theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. So, is it time to flash, flash, hundred-yard dash over to Animal Kingdom? We think YES!

CONFIRMED: Disney+ Reveals New Streaming Deal Is Complete

Disney+ is growing once again. Disney’s Hulu + Live TV business will now include content from FuboTV Inc., thanks to a new deal. The partnership combines Fubo’s business with Disney’s Hulu + Live TV business.

FuboTV Inc. and The Walt Disney Company announced they have closed a transaction to combine Fubo and Hulu + Live TV. This deal creates the sixth-largest Pay TV company in the U.S, with nearly 6 million subscribers in North America. Fubo and Hulu + Live TV customers will now be able to watch over 55,000 live sporting events, along with “entertainment-focused programming offerings.”

Magic Kingdom Is the #1 Most Visited Theme Park in the WORLD, but the Rest of the List May Surprise You!

The annual TEA (Themed Entertainment Association) Global Experience Index just released its official report for 2024. The report summarizes data from the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), Entertainment + Culture Advisors (ECA), The Park Database (TPDB), and InPark Magazine. Now, we finally have a list of the most visited theme parks worldwide in 2024! While the report includes the most visited theme parks globally, Florida’s own Magic Kingdom Park topped the list. Are you surprised? As theme park reporters ourselves (who travel to major amusement parks all over the world), we’re not surprised.

In fact, Disney won big in this category, claiming four of the top five most visited theme parks worldwide in 2024. Following Magic Kingdom, the list includes Disneyland Park, Universal Studios Japan, Tokyo Disneyland, and Shanghai Disneyland.

“You Gotta Love It When Life Comes Full Circle.” A MAJOR Celebrity Announces NEW Deal With Six Flags Theme Parks

Some partnerships just make perfect sense. Disney X LEGO? That’s a match made in toy heaven. Benson Boone X Crumbl Cookies? We see the vision. But the latest pop culture partnership — Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs X Six Flags theme parks — is quite the surprise.

On October 21st, the JANA Partners investment firm announced it is partnering with Travis Kelce (who is currently engaged to Taylor Swift, by the way) to “enhance shareholder value and improve the guest experience” at Six Flags theme parks.

Is This Video a MAJOR Clue About a NEW Disney Drone Show?

Take a good look at this photo. Take it in. Ahh…the beauty of a Disney theme park at night, right? There’s something extra special about an evening at Disneyland Resort. In fact, one of our favorite parts of spending the night at Disneyland is catching the fireworks show. It’s just SO GOOD.

Clearly, the DFB team is a big fan of fireworks. The combination of music, pyrotechnics, and projections really creates something magical. And now, Disney has started using drone technology to further enhance its nighttime spectaculars. Thanks to @socaloutdoorexplorer and @whatsupscv on Instagram, we may have an update on a new drone project in Disneyland.
