2024 will be an exciting time!
By “almost there,” we mean that we have almost made it through the busy holiday season at Disney World. One more major holiday is approaching, and yes, it’ll definitely bring the crowds. That’s right, we’re talking about New Year’s Eve!
2024 is bringing some serious changes to Disney World.
2024 will be an exciting time!
The best part? 2024 is only a few days away! While most of these changes won’t actually go into effect until January 9th, we’re excited nonetheless. One of the biggest changes taking place is the removal of park pass reservation requirements for most ticketed visitors. After the 9th, you’ll no longer need a park pass reservation to enter a park — with the exception of Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays. With that update comes another HUGE update hidden inside — and a lot of folks might not know about this yet.
We might be in the throes of all things red, green, and holly jolly, but we know that there are a few of you out there that are already thinking about the next SPOOKY SEASON.

When I think of fancy shmancy experiences at Disney World, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa comes to mind before anything else.

Not only is this widely considered to be THE deluxe of the deluxe resorts at Disney World, but it boasts the highly-acclaimed Victoria and Albert’s Restaurant, the Mary Poppins-themed Citrico’s, and enough Victorian theming throughout the hotel to truly transport you back to a magical time. One fan-favorite restaurant here that recently returned after a lengthy refurbishment is Narcoossee’s!
We go to Disney World every single day.

Yes, really! Every day we spend in the parks, we learn something new. You see, Disney is a mastermind (cue the T. Swift song) when it comes to innovation and keeping things feeling brand new. So, the rules change, the parks themselves change, and even WE change — whether that be our situations OR our bodies that can’t handle staying out from rope drop to park close anymore. We learned a few hard lessons at Disney World in 2023, and we’re here to share those with you for your own planning purposes.

Where else would we be spending the holidays other than the Most Magical Place on Earth? Yep, we’re at Disney World on Christmas Eve, and before we even got to the parks this morning, we knew it would be a pretty busy day! The holiday season brings in a lot of visitors no matter what day it is, and that has a tendency to drive up Genie+ prices. Here’s what you can expect on Christmas Eve!

Call us dramatic if you want, but it’s truly so disheartening when one of our favorite snacks disappears off a menu, a merchandise item we’ve been wanting sells out, or when one of our favorite rides closes. Disney World broke our hearts three times last week, and if our hearts had to be broken, so does yours. (Sorry. I don’t make the rules.)
