We’re spending Christmas Eve in the Most Magical Place on Earth!
All season long we’ve been trying all the holiday snacks, visiting EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, and checking out Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Now it’s finally Christmas Eve, which means we’re expecting LOTS of crowds in the parks. Come with us to take a look!
Merry Christmas Eve to those of you who celebrate! If you don’t — Happy Saturday!

Christmas in Magic Kingdom!
If you’re in the parks, you can watch some special holiday entertainment over the next few days, and there are tons of holiday snacks to grab around the resort. While all of that is wonderful, there can be some downsides to visiting during the most magical time of the year — primarily crowds. And with big crowds and high levels of demand for the parks can come some BIG increases on Genie+ prices. And that’s exactly what we’re seeing…

Have you ever been to a Disney after-hours event?

Pixar Pier at night
Disney’s holiday parties like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (in Disney World) can give you the chance to enjoy special entertainment, food, and more in the park once others have left for the day. But there are other more EXCLUSIVE after-hours events, like those for Disney Vacation Club members. Moonlight Magic is one of those events. Alright, sports fans, we’ve got some great news for you!

The ESPN Wide World of Sports in Disney World hosted the Warrior Games this year, and many runDisney races utilize the space for their events. However, there will be new users of this space soon — the Tampa Bay Rays will use the facility for their Spring Training!
A new year is coming, which means lots of things for Disney!

Experts have predicted huge changes for the Disney company in 2023, there are new problems you’ll encounter and have to overcome, and new closures are also on their way. In fact, we just found out a ride in Disney California Adventure is closing soon for refurbishment, and there’s no reopening date set yet!
There are lots of times when you’ll need to whip out that credit card before and during your Disney World trip. (You’ll see proof of that on your credit card bills after your trip. 😳)
For starters, you’ve got to buy your park tickets to actually get in and experience the magic. Then, you’ve got to decide where you’re staying (unfortunately you can’t sleep in the Disney World theme parks 😂). And throughout your trip, you’ll need to pay for snacks, souvenirs, and much more. Your first thought may be to use your credit/debit card to pay for most or all of these things (and maybe you’ll rely on your MagicBand to pay since they can typically be connected to your credit card), but there are a few reasons why you should always carry multiple forms of payment with you. If you don’t, you may encounter a serious issue.
If you’re planning to visit Disney World in 2023, you need to look carefully at whether popular events will be taking place during your trip. And while you might know about the big things — holidays, opening dates, etc. — there may be one type of event you’re forgetting about — runDisney races.
These race weekends can bring some BIG crowds to the parks. But crowds aren’t the only thing you have to worry about if you’re driving to Disney World during a race.
