We’re no strangers to Disney sales that appear and disappear just as quickly, and we also know there’s SO much merchandise to check out at any given time. We do our best to keep up with all the new merchandise, but also keep an eye out for sales so you can save some cash. There are so many great restaurants in Disney Springs to try out, and we know we have to revisit them when new snacks are released (not that we’re complaining!). We recently found new cupcakes in Disney Springs, but now there’s a new poutine we just HAD to try!
We will ALWAYS talk about Disney food on this blog, and that’s a fact — it’s in our name!
Nothing like a good ‘ol Mickey Premium Bar!
We try all the new snacks, restaurants, menu items, you name it in the Disney parks, because, well, it’s our job. Let’s be honest though — Disney food is EXPENSIVE! We decided to ask our readers how much they spend on Disney food a day on their trips, and most of them said they spend over $100 a day!
Pause whatever you’re doing. If you love cakes and Disney World, there’s a snack you absolutely MUST see.
Sassagoula
Disney often has limited-time snacks available and now is no exception. Celebrate Soulfully is Disney’s way of celebrating “soul-inspiring experiences” and it gets a particular highlight during Black History Month in February. The event has actually brought a number of new snacks to the parks and resorts, and now we’re headed to one location at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter for an EPIC cake.
Sometimes, it’s not the BEST time to do certain things in Disney World.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Don’t believe us? What about riding Splash Mountain (soon to be Tiana’s Bayou Adventure) or Kali River Rapids when it’s freezing outside? Or eating a really heavy meal right before going on Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster? While getting on a boat around Disney can be pretty awesome, there’s one time you really don’t want to do it — right when the Electrical Water Pageant is scheduled to happen.
Disney has some pretty great eats, that’s for sure.
Takumi-Tei
We love trying all the new snacks and menu items that are introduced to the parks, and of course, keeping you updated on all our latest reviews. Sometimes Disney hosts some special events that could be once-in-a-lifetime experiences depending on where you live, your budget, etc., and one of those is coming up next month! You can head over to Takumi-Tei in EPCOT for an evening of fine dining, as they become the first Florida restaurant to feature IWA 5!
What if you could LIVE at Disney?

Okay, living IN the parks may not be a possibility right now, but Disney has built some communities outside the parks where you can live (though it’s NOT cheap!). A while ago, it was announced that Disney would start building a master-planned community called Cotino in California, which would be a Storyliving by Disney project. Now we’ve got a big update on WHEN the first guests could be welcomed into the community!

Over in Disneyland, we’ve been trying all the new Lunar New Year eats, and Disney World is coming out with lots of new snacks soon as well. While walking around Magic Kingdom today, we spotted the most ADORABLE new treat — the Donald Corn Cake!
