It’s SANTA!
We’re in Disney World, today, for Christmas Day and it appears so are MANY of you! It’s the most magical time of the year in the Most Magical Place on Earth. We wish you all good tidings on your festive trip. But, unfortunately, we came with some not so great news.
Disney is bringing bigger meaning to the words “immersive” and “living land.”

Disney’s World of Frozen in Hong Kong brought us a whole new experience of interacting with the villagers inside Arendelle, creating a “living land.” Now, the brand new Zootopia land has opened at Shanghai Disney Resort and is giving us a glimpse into what it might be like to live in the mammalian city. And it turns out you can experience the citizens who live here, too!
Sometimes creating movies and TV shows can be dangerous for the actors involved.

Fighting scenes and stunts can cause special safety hazards to those involved. While stunt doubles may be used, often actors will still have to engage in the more dangerous scenes. That is exactly what caused an accident in 2021 that now has a British actor suing Disney over an injury.

Disney gets lots of attention due to it being a massive entertainment company and having multiple divisions that it controls. In the past year or so, Disney has been in the headlines over the lawsuits they’ve filed against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, claiming he has retaliated against them for speaking out against a bill he approved. DeSantis most notably dissolved the Reedy Creek Improvement District and appointed his own governing board– the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District.
Now, Disney has filed a new lawsuit against this DeSantis-appointed district board.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Holidays in Magic Kingdom
There’s holly and garland, Christmas trees and snow (ah, snoap), and there are lots and lots of people! Yep, you know that Christmas is just around the corner when Magic Kingdom is bustling with crowds. We’ve noticed everyone has started to make their way into the parks to celebrate the magic of the season in the Most Magical Place on Earth. And along with big crowds come record-breaking Genie+ prices!
There’s bougie, and then there’s Disney bougie.
Cinderella Castle
There are a lot of experiences that cost a pretty penny in Disney World. You can dine at Victoria & Albert’s, take a private VIP tour of Disney World, or even get married in the theme parks. But possibly the ultimate bougie thing to do in Disney World (and one we’re all jealous of) might be LIVING at Disney World. The Golden Oak community allows you to do just that. And there’s a multi-million-dollar mansion in this community that we are drooling over. We HAVE to show you this house!
Disney World has a TON of rides throughout its four theme parks.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
There are kids’ rides, family rides, and thrill rides. There’s a ride for nearly everybody to enjoy. But with so many rides comes a lot of upkeep. Disney has to make sure each of its rides is safe and working properly. And once in a while, they’ll get new things added to them or just some good updating. Well, we noticed that one ride will be down for quite a while starting this coming January.

Universal Orlando
You can step into the movies in the U.S. at Universal Orlando, Islands of Adventure, or Universal Studios Hollywood. Or head to parks in Singapore, Japan, or Beijing. If you’re a fan of movies like Harry Potter, Fast and the Furious, or Jurassic Park, then you may enjoy a trip to one of these parks. They certainly bring the action. Now, it seems, that Universal may be looking to expand to another country.
