Between transportation hiccups and walkway closures, getting to the parks can sometimes take longer than expected. Today, when we were heading to Magic Kingdom, we noticed a bit of a setback that had some guests having to stop at guest services on the way into the park.

We just got word of a new snack cart coming to Tomorrowland, lots of construction on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is underway, and the opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run is right around the corner! But today we’re headed to the Disney World Resorts to give you an update on everything that’s going on there lately. Come take a look!

On April 4th, the new coaster in Magic Kingdom officially opens, and we are pumped! We’re getting NEW Tron-themed food, tons of fun TRON merchandise, and a new interactive experience. (And possibly even a new character sighting on opening day?). But one of the coolest things we’ll get to experience is the lit canopy that shines in blues and oranges at night, representing Team Blue and Team Orange, while the lightcycles speed by underneath. So does that mean that TRON is a much better experience at night? We’ve been lucky enough to ride a few times so we are bringing you the details.

Disney announced the casting of Ariel all the way back in 2019, and we have been excitedly taking in all the info we could get about the film ever since. From the news that Lin-Manuel Miranda would be contributing FOUR new songs to the movie and that Melissa McCarthy, Javier Bardem, and Jonah Hauer-King all have huge roles, to the release of the OFFICIAL trailer last month — Disney sure knows how to get us excited for a movie. Now, we have even more to share with you about this upcoming film.
