6 Things Disney World Restaurant Cast Members Want To Tell You But Won't Because They're Too Nice

As is the case with everything else on property, the magic of Disney’s restaurants comes from the Cast Members.

However, some guests make working at these restaurants a bit more difficult than they should be. That’s why Cast Members would LOVE to say things… if they weren’t so nice.

With the Disney Dining Plan being one of Disney’s most popular offerings – and returning for FREE this summer – many guests are going to be using the plan this summer. Which means they really need to know what’s included BEFORE they order.

The traditional Disney Dining Plan offers “classic dining options at both quick-service and table-service restaurants,” then everyone in the party ages 3 and up receives:

1 Quick-Service Meal Per Night of Stay
1 Table-Service Meal Per Night of Stay
1 Snack or Nonalcoholic Beverage Per Night of Stay
1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug

Meanwhile, the Quick Service Dining Plan offers a quicker alternative, with members of the party ages 3 and up receiving:

2 Quick-Service Meals Per Night of Stay
1 Snack or Nonalcoholic Beverage Per Night of Stay
1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug

So keep those things in mind, and don’t be shocked if certain things aren’t included. Now, speaking of the Dining Plan…

Speaking of what’s included in the Dining Plan, one thing that’s NOT is gratuity. So please remember to tip your servers.

When it comes to quick-service restaurants, it’s your responsibility to clean up their garbage once you’re done eating. Yes, you’re on vacation. Yes, there are Cast Members. But please, just clean up.

“Being Rude WON’T Make Your Service Faster”

It can be frustrating if your order is taking a long time to come out, or if there’s a mistake with your food, etc. However, there’s no need to ever be rude to a Cast Member. It’s not going to fix your order or make your food come any faster, and it’s just going to further ruin your experience and that of Cast Members who only want to help you.

“You Have to Leave Even if the Weather Outside is Bad!”

It’s definitely understandable why it would be tempting to milk staying in a restaurant as long as possible if its air conditioning is keeping you cool during a summer heatwave or it’s providing shelter from the rain. That said, Cast Members need to turnover tables as efficiently as possible, so once your meal is paid for — kindly — get out.

It can get pretty rainy!
