The 12 Disney World Restaurants That Will Be Harder to Book This Summer

Disney World is filled with so many dining spots, but a handful of them will be a lot harder to book this summer!

Summer is just around the corner, which means V.I.PASSHOLDER days are almost here at Disney World! One of the perks Disney revealed for the event is an increased dining discount at select restaurants for Disney World Annual Passholders. Whether you’re an Annual Passholder or you’re just visiting the parks this summer, if you’re interested in dining at any of these 12 restaurants during your vacation, you’ll need to book them sooner rather than later, because they’re going to be difficult to get!

There’s a new dining discount coming for Disney World Annual Passholders that can save them up to 40% at select restaurants around Disney World! The offer will only be here for a limited time this summer, during V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days.

Coral Reef

The dining discount is a massive increase from the everyday discount available to passholders at select restaurants year-round. You know what that means — these 12 restaurants are going to be BUSY all summer long! Here is the list of the 12 restaurants you’ll want to book way in advance if you’re interested in dining there this summer:

Passholders save 20%

Be Our Guest Restaurant (lunch only)
The Crystal Palace (lunch and dinner)

Passholders save 40%

Biergarten Restaurant (lunch only)
Coral Reef Restaurant (dinner only)
Garden Grill Restaurant (lunch and dinner)
Hollywood & Vine (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
Tiffins Restaurant (dinner only)
Tusker House Restaurant (lunch and dinner)
Boatwright’s Dining Hall (dinner only)
Cape May Cafe (dinner only)
Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood (dinner)
Whispering Canyon Cafe (brunch and dinner)

Garden Grill

All 12 of those restaurants will be busy all summer long, but we’d specifically pay attention to Be Our Guest, Crystal Palace, Biergarten Restaurant, and Garden Grill Restaurant. The reason for that is that those four dining spots are new to the V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days dining discount this year.

Let’s eat in the Beast’s castle

The Passholder discount will only be available Monday to Thursday, so you won’t be able to use it on the weekends. We’d start making reservations right now, as the discount becomes available starting May 1st, and goes through to July 31st, 2026.

Our whole meal at Whispering Canyon

The discount will be applied to the regular price of food and nonalcoholic beverages (excluding applicable tax and gratuity). Discounts may not be valid on certain menu items and may not be combined with any other discount, offer, or promotion. The discount also excludes special events and dining packages.

Inside the dining room at Hollywood and Vine

If you’re making a reservation at any of these restaurants and you’re NOT an Annual Passholder, pay attention to the time of day you’re booking. Some restaurants only offer the discount to Passholders during lunch, some during dinner, and others all day. Book at a time when the discount wouldn’t apply — it’ll be easier and less busy. You could also target Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, since the discount doesn’t work on those days.
