A Popular Disney World Restaurant Will Close in ONE WEEK

There are so many tasty hidden gems around Disney World, especially at the resorts. If you aren’t dining at the resorts, you’re missing out on so many amazing restaurants and lounges, it’s not even funny!

One of our favorite hidden spots is a dark, casual lounge over at Disney’s Yacht Club. If you’re looking for bites that will make your mouth water, this lounge has been one of our recommended spots for years, and soon, it’s closing for MONTHS! Don’t be caught unprepared; we have all of the information for you right here!

The Crew’s Cup Lounge is closing very soon at Disney’s Yacht Club! That’s right, our beloved dark and vibey lounge is closing temporarily, and our beloved prime rib sliders will be a memory. This popular spot will be closing on February 23rd until May 2026 for a big refurbishment!

While we will truly struggle without these sliders for a few months, we’re just relieved it’s only a temporary closure. Disney has shared that this is part of a refurbishment process at Disney’s Yacht Club through late 2026. As far as the changes to the lounge go, Disney hasn’t shared exactly what’s changing at the Crew’s Cup.

We’re anticipating some refreshed interior changes, updated finishes, and possibly some menu or layout adjustments. We don’t think our beloved spot is changing too much! Just a few upgrades. Disney did warn that guests staying at the resort might hear construction during the day.

Crew’s Cup is one of our favorite ways to unwind after a long park day, so it will be missed over the few months that it’s closed. If you want the same dark atmosphere and an amazing steak and soup, you can go to the lounge’s table service restaurant, Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Yachtsman Steakhouse is one of our favorite restaurants thanks to that delicious sauce flight and delectable side dishes. After Crew’s Cup reopens in May 2026, it will be the Yachtsman’s turn to close. Disney has shared that the table service restaurant will close on May 11th, 2026 for a refresh and is expected to reopen by August 2026.

If you’re visiting during any of the closures, there are still lots of spots to dine at nearby! Ale & Compass Lounge is also at the Yacht Club, AbracadaBar at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort, or the Rose & Crown Pub inside EPCOT are some great spots to grab a drink or bite.
