Disney World, here we come! Our rooms are booked, the plane is fueled up, and those Mickey-shaped snacks are calling our names. There’s only one thing left… to pack!

Magic Kingdom
If you’ve never been to Disney World, it can feel overwhelming to pack for the first time, especially when you don’t know what you need. That’s where we come in! We have the full list of the 15 essentials everyone needs for their 1st (or 100th) trip to Disney World right here.
It can be daunting to make sure to pack the perfect amount for Disney World. You want to be prepared, but you also don’t want to overpack, which could lead to you being weighed down. That’s why we’re here to share the tried and true items that we have tested in the parks so we know what’s well worth your time and money!
Flat Plug Power Strip
One thing about Disney in 2026? It takes a lot of power to maximize your day. Charging your cell phones, cameras, MagicBands, portable chargers, and more takes a lot of outlets, which not every hotel room has. Over the last few years, newer rooms and refurbished options do tend to have more outlets, but take our advice. Save those evening fights about “No, I need to charge MY iPad first,” and bring this power strip. It will be so worth it!
BAGAIL 8 Set Packing Cubes
When it comes to Disney World outfits, we like to have a few options! The rain, sweat, and other factors of being in a theme park might require an unexpected outfit change, so we like to have extra options. To help us prevent overpacking and to keep everything organized, we use these packing cubes! Packing with packing cubes has actually changed our travel game. Plus it helps our bags zip up more easily than ever before.
Magnetic Portable Charger
We’ve already touched on what it takes to truly maximize your Disney World trip, and that is your phone! Not everybody loves this aspect of the parks, but it is a fact that you basically need your phone these days. You check wait times, mobile order your food, skip the lines, find show times, save your park tickets, and more, all on the technology right in your hand. This Anker charger helps keep our phones ready all day long, and there’s no annoying cord attached! It’s super convenient and holds on really well, even on roller coasters. (Yes, we tested that).
JISULIFE Portable Neck Fan
A major factor of your Disney World trip is, unfortuntely, going to be the heat! Especially if you go from May until September, it’s going to be H-A-W-T, hot! This portable neck fan has changed the game when it comes to keeping us cool. This fan has 5 different speeds, and you can wear it around your neck all day long. It keeps you cool while being hands-free, so you won’t need to worry when you have to pick up the kids, carry the bags, or handle the Lightning Lanes, all while staying cool.
Frogg Togg Ponchos
The heat and sunshine can be tough on your park days, but those unexpected rainstorms can really throw a wrench in your day! This ultralight poncho has made us feel like we can face even the wettest days head-on. This poncho keeps us (and our backpacks) incredibly dry. It also doesn’t make us feel steamed or overstimulated, even when those rain showers are warm. It also dries super quickly and goes back into a carrying case, so we can toss it right into our bags without damaging our other items after the rain is over.
ODODOS Daily Sling Bag
There are a lot of park bags, but if you’re traveling light, we couldn’t recommend the ODODOS Sling Bag more! This lightweight bag has an adjustable strap so you can move it as needed throughout the day. This bag has two exterior pockets and an open front pocket that can fit a bottle of water easily. The large back pocket can fit a surprising amount, like a wallet, cell phone, portable charger, mini sunscreen, small snacks, and more. If you’re in the parks solo, this is a great bag!
Stanley IceFlow
A water bottle can make your Disney trip SO MUCH BETTER! If you aren’t drinking multiple bottles of water a day, there’s a world where you could get sick or dehydrated during your park day. We have tested tons of water bottles, and this was easily our number one. It kept our water cold for hours, has a carrying handle, and is easy to sip on even while you’re on the go.
TABITORA Portable Hanging Shelves
If you are someone who likes to unpack on your vacation, it’s easier than ever with this portable hanging shelf! This packing shelf has 3 shelves, two small liners, and a shoe pocket that you can compress down and clip together to use as a packing cube. Once you get to your destination, you unclip it and use the included hangers to hang it up on a doorway or in a closet, and BOOM! You’re unpacked in seconds. This is great for anyone who likes to see everything they packed all at one time, without completely unpacking and then repacking.
BAGSMART Travel Toiletry Bag
Every trip needs a toiletry bag! This BAGSMART toiletry bag comes with 2 large compartments and two side pockets that will fit SO much. Each of the middle compartments is super roomy and comes with mesh lining to keep everything organized. One of the side pockets also has a spill-proof lining for any items that you are concerned about when traveling. The other side compartment folds out flat with elastic straps for brushes and products. We are BIG fans of this one!
Touchland Disney Hand Sanitizer
While we love the Disney theme parks, we will admit there are moments when we feel a little dirty and grimy. Dole Whips melt on our hands, kiddos play in the dirt, and thousands of people have touched the same railing that we’re touching. That’s why we always keep handsanitizer on us. Our Touchland Hand Sanitizer is easily sprayed on our hands and doesn’t spill like some other options we’ve tried. Plus, you can also grab this Mickey carrying case that you can attach right onto your bag, for easy access.
HOKA Rincon 4
Trust us when we say bad shoes can ruin your theme park day! We have tested hundreds of shoes, and the HOKA brand has impressed us every time. These shoes offer incredible support and cushion to get you through those several-mile days. These are also designed for longevity, so they will last well before and well after your vacation.
Handy Laundry Hamper
This might be our only slightly extra thing on this list, but bringing a pop-up hamper on our trips changed our lives. After a long park day, you’re going to slightly limp back to your room, frankly, a little crusty from dried sweat. You’re going to feel great about the day you’ve had, but you are ready to shed those clothes and hop in the shower ASAP! In the past, we would let those nights turn into a mess until we had to scoop it all up and shove it in a bag to try and make it out by 11 AM. Now, we toss our dirty clothes straight into this pop-up hamper to keep our hotel room clean all week long. When we drive, we toss this hamper right into our car and hit the road! When we fly, we dump this straight into our luggage, zip it, and have 0 worries that something got left under the bed.
16 Pack Travel Bottles Set
Disney offers some amazing shampoo, conditioner, and soap, but we will admit that it’s hard to change from our preferred brands. That’s why we bring our own products from home! In the past, we would just keep buying mini refillable options, but to save money, we’ve started using this 16-bottle travel set. This set comes with 4 travel bottles, 4 travel jars, 2 spray bottles, 2 spoons, 1 funnel, 1 cleaning brush, and 1 label pack. Plus, they’re TSA-approved, so you won’t have to worry before hopping on a flight.
Bento Box Adult Lunch Box
Do you have group picky eaters? Are you trying to save some money? You need to bring your own snacks to the parks. Disney has tons of options, but they might not have the brands, prices, or nutritional options that you require when eating. This bento box is a great way to bring several snacks at once while keeping them organized. It has four locking mechanisms and comes with utensils for easy dining.
The Perfect Park T-Shirt
Finally, what’s a good Disney trip without the classic theme park tee? We won’t be shy, we love our theme park tees so we can be cute AND comfortable all day long. You can shop based on your favorite theme park, attraction, or even just your general love of Disney World. We have a little something for everyone.
If you have these essentials, you are going to be a happy camper on your Disney vacation! Be sure to keep following DFB for more online finds and easy packing lists.
