Sometimes, the very best snack in Magic Kingdom costs less than your morning latte at home.
We talk a lot about the flashy, over-the-top Disney snacks, but today we’re keeping it simple and budget-friendly. If you’ve got about six bucks to spend and a sweet tooth that needs attention, there are a couple of treats that seriously overdeliver. Let’s talk about our top picks and a few honorable mentions that are absolutely worth your cash.
Crème Brûlée Croissant at Gaston’s Tavern
If you’ve walked through Fantasyland and caught a whiff of sugar and butter in the air, chances are this beauty was nearby. The Crème Brûlée Croissant at Gaston’s Tavern rings in right at $6.49, and it feels way fancier than that price tag suggests.
Picture a golden, flaky croissant stuffed to the brim with silky vanilla custard. Then imagine the top coated in torched sugar that shatters when you bite into it. It’s part pastry, part classic crème brûlée, and somehow it works perfectly. The caramelized sugar adds that deep, slightly smoky sweetness, while the custard inside is smooth and rich without being heavy. Fair warning, this is not a dainty snack. You’re going to want napkins. Possibly several. The filling is generous, and it will try to escape. But that’s part of the fun. It feels indulgent in the best way, and for under six dollars in a theme park, that’s a rare win.
REVIEW: You Should SKIP the Cinnamon Roll at Gaston’s Tavern and Get This Snack Instead
Add $2 to Your Budget for the Warm Cinnamon Roll at Gaston’s Tavern
Yes, technically, this one sits at $7.99 on the menu, but we’d be doing you a disservice if we didn’t mention it.
This thing is massive. Like, split-it-with-a-friend massive. It’s served warm, pillowy, and swirled with plenty of cinnamon sugar. On top, there’s a thick layer of maple-flavored icing that melts into every spiral. It’s sweet, it’s gooey, and it’s exactly what you want with a coffee in hand while you people-watch in Fantasyland. Pro tip that longtime fans already know: it never hurts to politely ask for a little extra icing on the side. If you’re trying to stretch your snack budget, this one can easily be shared and still feel satisfying.

Honorable Mentions That Deserve Some Love
Columbia Harbour House has two snacks that quietly compete for best under-$6 treat. The hushpuppies are $5.49 and come out warm and crispy on the outside with a soft, savory center. They’re simple, but they hit the spot, especially if you’re craving something salty instead of sweet.
Then there’s the Boston Cream Pie for $5.99, which brings layers of cake, creamy filling, and chocolate on top. It’s classic, comforting, and easy to split.
Over in Frontierland, Pecos Bill gives you Chips and Salsa for $5.99 and Chips with Queso for $6.49. The queso pushes past our six-dollar limit by a bit, but it’s still one of the better savory snack deals in the park. It’s a great option when your group wants something shareable that isn’t another sugary treat.
We also have to mention the Cheshire Cat Tail for $6.29 in Fantasyland. It’s basically a twisted pastry filled with chocolate and drizzled with colorful icing. It’s whimsical, it’s photogenic, and it tastes like a chocolatey croissant hybrid.
And finally, the classic DOLE Whip. A cup at Sunshine Tree Terrace is $5.79 (which is 20 cents cheaper than a cup over at Aloha Isle), and it remains one of the most refreshing snacks you can grab on a hot Florida afternoon. It’s light, fruity, and dairy-free, which makes it a solid pick for a lot of different dietary needs.
At the end of the day, you don’t have to drop a ton of money to snack well in Magic Kingdom. Sometimes the best bite is the one that’s simple, satisfying, and right around six dollars. If you’re heading into the park soon, these are the treats we’d grab first.
