Eating our way through Disney World is our job, and we take it very seriously. We also get excited when new snacks pop up in the parks, at the hotels, or at Disney Springs, and we make it our mission to try EACH AND EVERY ONE. With that being said, we’ve already tried TONS of new snacks in Disney World.
Now, you know us…we have opinions on EVERYTHIING we eat and drink in Disney World, and over the past few months, we’ve shared those reviews with you. But what about our top snack picks for the year so far? Well, we’re going to tell you which ones are our faves!
Here are our the top snacks we’ve had so far in 2026. Buckle up because there are quite a few!
Iced Double Berry Matcha
If you had told us a month ago that we’d be calling a matcha drink one of our new favorite drinks in Disney World, we might’ve looked at you like you’d just grown an extra head. But here we are, and Starbucks’ new Iced Double Berry Matcha won us over in a BIG way. We loved how the berry flavor mellowed out the grassiness of the matcha flavor (and matcha is generally an acquired taste), and we were surprised at just how much this drink worked for us.
We picked the Iced Double Berry Matcha up at Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom, but it’s available now in all Starbucks, so check it out for yourself if you don’t believe us.

Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich
We thought we’d lost hand-dipped ice cream and cookie ice cream sandwiches in Disney’s Animal Kingdom forever when Dino-Bite Snacks closed, but they’ve come back even better at Terra Treats. The Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich with cookie dough on top, ice cream in the middle, and a brownie at the bottom is a big upgrade to the Dino-Bites cookie ice cream sandwiches. It’s like all of our favorite things thrown together, and we are here for it.
We also thought the rectangular shape made the ice cream sandwich a little easier to eat than the older round sandwiches. However, this particular treat isn’t hand-scooped — it comes preassembled, but that kinda’ makes sense, and we’re cool with it.

Carrot Cake Sundae
So here’s a surprise…a new carrot cake treat has popped up at Terra Treats, too, and we couldn’t get enough of it. It’s the Carrot Cake Sundae, an Annual Passholder exclusive treat that we’d share with the world if we could. You’ve got vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce, roasted pecans, and carrot cake crumbs in a waffle bowl topped with birthday cake-flavored shell and a chocolate carrot.
It’s not just cute, though, it’s delicious! We loved the blend of flavors, including the carrot cake spices, and the shell and crumbs added all kinds of great texture.

7-Layer Bar
Animal Kingdom is the PLACE to go for great snacks right now, and that includes the new 7-Layer Bar at Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery. The layers include a graham cracker crust with coconut, pecans, sunflower seeds, chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips with a sweetened condensed milk filling that’s topped with Maldon Salt. We loved every single layer, y’all, and you can taste each with every single bite.
The bar also has some lovely textures. It’s crunchy, it’s gooey, it’s chewy, and it’s soft. We hope this one sticks around for a LONG time so we can go back and get it again and again.

BBQ Brisket Waffle
Imagine how excited we were when we discovered that Marketplace Snacks in Disney Springs was bringing us some new savory waffles. Now, we tried three, but one clearly stood out from the rest: the BBQ Brisket Waffle. BBQ brisket, sweet black pepper BBQ sauce, pickled onions, and chopped parsley. Oh, and there was also green onion AND mac and cheese inside!!! BBQ? Mac and cheese? SAY NO MORE.
The flavors go so well together with the sweet bubble waffle that’s holding it all together. There’s also a LOT of meat on this with that smoky BBQ flavor that pairs so well with the creamy cheesiness of the mac and cheese.

Banana Box Pie Cookie
In January, we discovered what might be our favorite Gideon’s Bakehouse Cookie of all time. It’s the Banana Box Pie Cookie made with banana, toffee, and spices, and topped with white chocolate and crunchy candied vanilla wafers. All those flavors? They combine to make one of the tastiest cookies we’ve ever had. We imagine this is what Bananas Foster would be like if it were a cookie.
Everything is just perfect…this cookie brings the flavors and textures. There’s just one downside: this was a special cookie flavor JUST for January, so you might have to just wait for its return next year. But trust us, this one IS worth waiting for.

Steak Frites
Yes, French fries have made our list of best snacks of 2026 so far, but these aren’t just any French fries. These are the Steak Frites from The Daily Poutine in Disney Springs. These fries are topped with flank steak, chimichurri, bearnaise sauce, sweet pepper drops, and grated parmesan.
We’re already big fans of the fries at The Daily Poutine, but these toppings are JUST STELLAR. You’ve got beautifully cooked steak that works so well with the fries and other flavors. This would make a great lunch, and we might be heading over to The Daily Poutine for our lunch fries again soon.

Pizza Planet Spring Rolls
A new snack cart opened in Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and you can imagine how stoked we were when we saw Pizza Spring Rolls on the menu. We loved that they weren’t super greasy, the egg rolls themselves were flaky, and they were very full of pepperoni!
Basically, these are pretty much a copycat of the spring rolls you can get in Magic Kingdom, which makes us happy. The only difference is that you get pre-packaged marinara sauce with them.

The Beast Crepe
When we learned that there was a gigantic crepe in EPCOT, well, we RAN to EPCOT to try it out. You’ll find it at Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris, and it comes stuffed full of cheese, mushrooms, ham, and arugula. And, y’all…those flavors come together in the best way possible.
The star of the crepe is the cheese that is baked on top of the galette, but the whole thing is delicious and could very well count as a meal.
