We’ll never say “no” to dessert in Disney World, whether that be having a classic Mickey ice cream bar, indulging in a massive cookie, imbibing an over-the-top donut, or some other sweet treat. But there’s just something about cake that always makes us smile (and we eat a lot of cake in a lot of different forms).
So when we learned that one of our favorite dining spots in Disney Springs has a new cake dessert, we immediately ran over there to try it out. So if you’re interested, keep reading to see what we thought about the Last Wish Cake at eet by Maneet Chauhan.
The Last Wish Cake is a dark chocolate cake topped with toasted marshmallow, graham cracker dust, and finished with white chocolate crispy pearls for $11.95. So, it’s basically a s’more in cake form. Now, this isn’t necessarily a flavor we would associate with eet, which is more about Indian-inspired flavors, but we’re not going to argue with any kind of cake. We will say that one thing confused us: the middle of the cake was cold. It was as if the cake was heated up, but the center didn’t get warm. So we’re not sure what that’s about.
However, with that being said, the cake is moist, and it even has a little bit of lava cake thing happening with melty chocolate throughout. The crispy pearls add a nice crunch. The overall flavor, though, is toasted marshmallow, and it even SMELLS like toasted marshmallow. We were most surprised that there weren’t any spices or anything added to it. But these are just standard flavors.
We also thought the portion size was good, and if you are eating this at the end of the meal, it’s probably shareable. It’s certainly a good dessert option here if you need something sweet after a savory meal.
