Flying to the Orlando International Airport (our beloved MCO) might not be the best part of your Disney World vacation, but new routes are being added that might make it a little easier to get to.
According to the Orlando Business Journal, more than a dozen new domestic and international flights are coming to the Orlando Airport, with services starting as early as January and going into the summer.
Before you start packing your suitcase filled with Mickey ears, you probably want to know where you’re heading, right? Here’s a look at the new routes!
- Appleton, Wisconsin: January 16th with Allegiant Air
- Newark, New Jersey: January 22nd with Frontier
- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: February 5th with Breeze Airways
- St. Thomas: February 5th with Southwest
- Pensacola, Florida: February 5th with Frontier
- Tokyo: four charter flights from February 23rd to March 10th with Zipair
- Felipe Angeles International Airport in Mexico City: March 2nd with Viva
- Knoxville, Tennessee: March 5th with Southwest
- Pensacola, Florida: March 12th with Breeze Airways
- Little Rock, Arkansas: seasonal from March 15th to 22nd with Frontier
- Tusla, Oklahoma: seasonal from March 15th to 23rd with Frontier
- Rochester, New York: March 26th with JetBlue
- Salt Lake City, Utah: April 1st with Frontier
- Richmond, Virginia: April 2nd with Frontier
- St. Maarten: April 7th with Southwest
- Little Rock, Arkansas: seasonal from June 6th to August 1st with Southwest
- Wichita, Kansas: seasonal from June 6th to August 1st with Southwest
All of those flights are coming to the Orlando Airport! Not to predict the future or anything, but we think we see a Disney World trip in your future. 2026 is going to be a great year for Disney World with tons of new opening dates, like for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, opening in the summer…
…along with Walt Disney Studios and the Magic of Disney Animation.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will open after a long refurbishment in the spring…
…and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin will, too.
