With flying for travel and business feeling a bit hit or miss lately, even as airlines continue announcing new routes and nonstop options in an effort to make travel easier, the idea of a stress-free getaway is more tempting than ever! That’s where Tampa International Airport’s latest sweepstakes comes in, offering you a chance to trade airport chaos for island time — but one of the sweepstakes’ conditions could make entering and winning this trip more complicated than at first glance.

Tampa International Airport, or TPA for short, is giving Florida residents a chance to score a tropical getaway just in time for the holidays. The airport is currently hosting a sweepstakes celebrating the 40th anniversary of its nonstop service to Grand Cayman via Cayman Airways, and the grand prize includes two round-trip airline tickets and a four-night stay on the island — all on a stunning Caribbean vacation.

This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Florida, and there are a few important eligibility details to keep in mind before entering. To qualify, you must be at least 21 years old at the time of entry, and current employees of the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.

Entering is easy: Simply fill out the online entry form with your first and last name, zip code, and email address before the clock runs out! According to the official sweepstakes page, the deadline to submit your entry is Monday, December 22, at 10 AM ET, so don’t wait until the last minute.

TPA also makes it clear that winners will be contacted only via email (not through social media), and the airport will never ask for credit card information in order to enter or claim the prize. As with most sweepstakes, it’s free to enter — and multiple additional entries may be earned by following TPA on social media platforms as indicated on the entry page.
