We might be neck-deep in the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, but the holidays will be over before we know it, and we’ll be counting down the days to the EPCOT Festival of the Arts (which is my favorite EPCOT festival).

The 2026 EPCOT Festival of the Arts starts on January 16th and runs through February 23rd, and will bring all kinds of visual arts, performing arts, and yes, culinary arts around EPCOT with artist booths, the Disney on Broadway concert series, and outdoor food kitchens. However, an experience that’s returning this year will change a little bit…the Visual Art in Performance series will be moving to Communicore Hall.
The Visual Art in Performance series brings artists to a stage to create a piece of art right in front of your eyes in a matter of minutes. It’s a fun part of the festival and a really great way to see some of Disney’s best artists at work. This performance series used to be held in World Showcase Plaza, but it’s moving to Communicore Hall Plaza for the 2026 festival.

Communicore Hall will also host a walk-through exhibit: Once Upon A Stage: The Magic of Disney on Broadway. The exhibit features costumes and props from Disney stage musicals, as well as some behind-the-scenes details on how animated movies like The Lion King and Aladdin were adapted for the Broadway stage.
