Back in October, Disney announced that it would be partnering with Formula 1 to be part of a special one-of-a-kind celebration at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The idea is that the two brands would combine to bring the thrill of racing and the beauty of Disney storytelling together.

Well, the Las Vegas Grand Prix was held on November 22nd, and Disney closed out the event with an evening in front of the iconic Las Vegas Bellagio Fountains (if you’ve never seen the fountains, it’s sort of like World of Color with dancing fountains and water shooting up to the heavens to a musical soundtrack. The closing celebration for the Las Vegas Grand Prix included Mickey Mouse bringing some of his Fantasmic! moves to the Bellagio!
During the show, Mickey Mouse acted as conductor to the Bellagio fountains and directed them to do their thing. As the Bellagio fountains danced and soared to some VERY familiar music, a very cool drone show was also playing overhead. Seriously, Disney has OUTDONE itself with its entertainment.

The entire city got in on the celebration while the Las Vegas Sphere lit up the night sky with images of Mickey.

It’s like Fantasmic! if Fantasmic! was being performed across a whole city. Leave it to Disney to go all out to close out the celebration. You can watch the full show here (yes, we recorded it from our TV because we just had to share it!).
