Isn’t the Christmas season at Disney World just the best?! The decorations, the holiday cheer, the music, and the TREATS!

Cheerful Elf Latte!
We recently went to both Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to try two new holiday drinks at Joffrey’s! These are Annual Passholder exclusive drinks —so if you have an AP and are a fan of coffee and festive flavors, you’re going to want to try them out.
Joffrey’s always delivers on new drinks year-round, depending on the season — and their Christmas drinks have to be our favorite. We went to two parks at Disney World just to try them both, but the question is, are these ones worth it this year?!

Cookie Butter Gingerbread Latte!
Our first stop is at Hollywood Studios, where we tried the Cookie Butter Gingerbread Latte for $7.49! This is not an overly sweet drink. It mostly tastes like coffee with a hint of gingerbread, so it’s not overwhelmingly gingerbread. There’s whipped cream that sweetens it even more, and some really cute gingerbread sprinkles that make the drink for us.

It wasn’t too sweet!
This is pretty consistent with a lot of flavored lattes in terms of level of flavor and sweetness. Of course, you can always ask for more pumps of the syrup. We do get the cookie taste, and we get some of the gingerbread, but none of it knocks us over the head with the flavor it claims. Honestly, if we were given this in a taste test, we don’t think we would be able to identify it as gingerbread or cookie butter, but we did enjoy every sip.

Gingerbread sprinkles!
What we really love about this drink is that it’s not overly sweet and has a spiced flavor, even if it wasn’t exactly identifiable. We have to say, the visual appeal of the whipped cream with the gingerbread man sprinkles on top is the BEST part. We don’t have anything overly negative to say about this, only that one of these Joffrey’s lattes blends into another for us, but the decoration of it is too cute. Overall, we really appreciate this one!

We liked this one!
Next, we’re going to the Magic Kingdom, where we got the Cheeful Elf Latte for $7.19. This tasted like a lightly sweetened coffee with whipped cream and an interesting sprinkle — similar to the Annual Passholder exclusive drink in Hollywood Studios.

Cheerful Elf Latte!
The sprinkles on top of the whipped cream are like shards of either a candy cane or one of those peppermint pinwheel candies, and are so strong with peppermint flavor that everything else just tastes ambiguous and vague (but pleasant). If we have one complaint, it’s not that this tastes bad; it’s that it doesn’t really taste like what it is supposed to. If you like a lightly sweet coffee flavored with something appealing, if not undiscernible, then this may be your thing.

It was very light in flavor
The sprinkle on top, that sharded peppermint candy, is the star of the drink, just like those little gingerbread man sprinkles were for the drink at Hollywood Studios. It is worth giving a go if you are in Magic Kingdom, looking to drink coffee, and want something with some visual festive appeal, as well as a pleasant flavor.

This was tasty!
Overall, the drinks have a pleasant taste, as well as a cute, festive look. If you’re at the park and want a lighter coffee with some Christmas flavors, you should try these out! For more Disney treat reviews, make sure to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog!
