Disney World during the holidays is FILLED with Christmas trees. Seriously, it feels like every single corner you turn, you see tree after tree with sparkling lights and beautiful designs.
Some of the trees are inside the parks, like Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, and require a park ticket, but others are at resorts, outside the parks, like Animal Kingdom, or at Disney Springs, so you can see them completely for free. We’re taking you with us to the Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs, which is where you’ll be able to see the most trees, all totally decked in Disney.
The Christmas Tree Stroll is a free event where you can walk through Disney Springs and check out all the decorated trees. You can pick up a map at the following locations:
- City Works Eatery & Pour House
- Crystlas Arts by Arribas Brothers
- havianas
- House of Blues Restaurant & Bar
- The LEGO Store
- The Polite Pig
The map shows the locations of all the trees, along with stickers so you can mark off each tree you find. There’s also a bunch of coupons in the map for places inside Disney Springs to save some money while you’re shopping and eating. Once you complete the scavenger hunt, make sure you return to those locations to receive a special prize — it’s usually a button!
There are some trees decorated with our favorite movies like Encanto…
…Coco…
…and the Nightmare Before Christmas and some to rides we love like…
…the Haunted Mansion.
Some trees are for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club, too. Don’t forget to check out the Disney Cruise Line tree (or, uh, topiary), which looks like the actual ship.
Take a moment to look a little closer to catch the hidden details, too.
Of course, you can’t forget to check it out at night. With all the twinkling lights, it’s truly one of my favorite parts of the holidays at Disney World.
Make sure you bring your MagicBand+ to interact with some of the trees. The Annual Passholder tree, Haunted Mansion tree, Star Wars tree, and the Nightmare Before Christmas tree work with your MagicBand+ to add a little bit more fun to your day in Disney Springs.
We’re not going to spoil all the trees this year, but you should definitely check them all out to find your new favorite. Many trees come back year after year with some changes, so it’s fun to see the differences each time you visit.
