The holiday season might be one of our favorite times in Disney World, because, y’all, the food SLAPS. Disney really goes all out with the holiday treats, including the ones you can find at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights.

But Disney Springs has its share of new treats right now, too. That includes some new DOLE Whip concoctions over at Swirls on the Water. So we headed over to Swirls on the Water to try them out.
Several new holiday snacks have arrived at Swirls on the Water. We started with the Mickey Gingerbread Cone, which is a Gingerbread cone with chocolate soft-serve, DOLE Whip pomegranate, holiday sprinkles, and gingerbread Mickey for $7.49.

The combination of the chocolate and pomegranate really surprised us. The chocolate is super creamy with a light flavor, while the pomegranate complements it with some iciness and a bit of tartness. The gingerbread Mickey on top was soft and easy to bite. Now, the little Mickey didn’t really add to the flavor of the snack as a whole, but we give it points for being cute. This is a fun treat, but we wouldn’t make a special trip to Disney Springs for it.

Then we tried the Tropical Holiday Tree Sundae, which is a waffle bowl with DOLE Whip Lime, coconut soft-serve, sugar tree lights, graham cracker crumbs, and sugar pieces for $7.29. The lime DOLE whip is a classic. It’s super smooth, bright, acidic, but not TOO tart. The coconut even helps balance out that lime flavor. The little sugar lights on the sides are crunchy and sugary…and yep, we ate ALL of them.

The bowl is also a traditional waffle bowl that held up really well. It was also big enough so we felt like we got a good portion size of the DOLE Whip. This refreshing treat is also super easy to share.

We also tried the DOLE Whip Sampler, which is supposedly a holiday sampler. For $8.99, you get three sample sizes of DOLE Whip treats.

The DOLE Whip Pineapple swirled with Vanilla Soft-serve and Fresh Pineapple Wedge is that classic DOLE Whip flavor we all know and love, swirled with vanilla. It’s refreshing, creamy, sweet, and has a nice tartness that comes from the pineapple.

The sampler also includes DOLE Whip Pomegranate swirled with Chocolate Soft-serve and Holiday Sprinkles, which we had in the Mickey Gingerbread Cone. We’ve already told you how much we loved the sweetness and creaminess of the chocolate paired with the pomegranate flavor. The addition of holiday sprinkles is festive, and they add a bit of crunch.

The third flavor is DOLE Whip Lime swirled with Coconut Soft-serve with Graham Cracker and Toasted Coconut Flakes. It’s basically like key lime pie in a cup. There’s a hint of tartness that blends with the sweetness and creaminess of the coconut. The graham crackers and toasted coconut on top add a bit of texture.

If we had one complaint about this DOLE Whip Sampler is that it doesn’t really SCREAM holidays to us. The flavors are tropical and make us think more about summer, unless of course, you’re spending the holidays on a tropical beach somewhere. Maybe the idea is the holidays in Florida…
