There are a total of six Disney resorts around the world, with a seventh in development. While Disney World might arguably be the most famous, Disneyland Paris is known for being one of the most beautiful.

Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel
We recently stopped by Disneyland Paris to check out construction, some snacks, and their latest hotel overhaul at the Hotel New York! We’re taking you through this Marvel-y resort and showing off our favorite details, along with a full tour of the hotel room that costs $1,000 a night.
If you didn’t know, over in Disneyland Paris, a lot of things are changing! They’re expanding their second park and giving it a brand-new name. They are also upgrading several of their hotels, and they started by overhauling Hotel New York by transforming it into Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel in 2021.

Outside Hotel New York!
We followed the updates and changes with the resort, and during our latest stop in Paris, we finally stayed in the re-themed hotel. Once we entered, the lobby blew us away! They had full-size Iron Man suits, Captain America’s shields, and tons of Marvel-inspired artwork.

The Lobby!
The hotel has over 350 pieces of art created by over 110 international artists! Everywhere you turned, there was a new piece of art.

How cool is this?!
They even have the characters etched into silver along the columns of the lobby. They were seriously detailed, yet subtle because they needed to catch the light to be seen clearly. That’s the coolest thing we’ve ever seen!

How cool is that?
It was seriously impressive!

Art was everywhere!
Enough about the lobby, though, let’s check out the room! We stayed in the Surprior Suite, but don’t be too impressed by the name. This is just this hotel’s version of a standard room. The pricing at Disneyland Paris is per person, per night, and it includes your park tickets. Three of us stayed in the room, so it was $350 per night per person, totaling over $1,000 per night.

Superior Room!
You can use your phone or a physical card to get into the room. Upon entering, you see an open closet and storage spaces to the left. On the right, you’ll spot the sleek bathroom!

The view once you enter
In the bathroom, there’s a large mirror, a vanity area, and a storage space underneath the vanity.

A look in the restroom!
There’s also a glass panel separating the toilet from the standing shower. It doesn’t really offer a ton of privacy, but we guess it’s there?

The toilet
The bathroom also offers amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They smelled nice, but you know what was even cooler?

A closer look at the amenities!
The bathroom has a literal Bluetooth speaker in the walls and ceiling, so you can listen to your favorite songs or YouTube videos while you get ready for the day. Yes, we screamed when we found out because that might be our favorite amenity we’ve ever seen in a Disney hotel room.

A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER?!
There’s also a full-length mirror outside the bathroom, which we definitely appreciated. We had two queen beds in our Superior suite, and both had benches at the end of the bed where we put on our shoes and kept our bags off the floor.

The rest of the room!
Each bed had a small shelf on the side to act as a side table and one shared shelf in the middle. There were also lights on either side of the beds for reading, late-night scrolling, or whatever you want a little light for.

A good look at the beds!
One thing we really loved it each side of the bed has a detailed light switch that turned off the reading lamps, side lamps, and overall room lights in addition to a USB charging port. Not getting up to turn on the lights was a serious plus in our book!

The light switch!
Across from the beds, there was a desk area with a seat…

The desk area!
… a coffee bar…

The coffee machine!
… that comes with tons of options…

So many options!
…a mini fridge…

Mini Fridge!
…and a large mirror. OR IS IT?

A good view of the mirror
It isn’t just a mirror, though. No, it doubles as the room’s TV too!

The TV is in the mirror!
The TV is located in the mirror, and it even includes a Disney+ subscription during the length of your stay. It gives you the ability to create an account without paying, so you can see if you like it!

Disney+ on the TV!
The room also features two chairs and a table for relaxing. Underneath the beds, you can also store a large suitcase to get it out of your way as you rush to the parks. This room also features art inspired by Black Widow and the Black Panther!

You can see the art here!
There was a little window so you could look out on the water and resort atmosphere, which was nice!

Our view!
The room also comes with the ability to order room service, which we have missed at the Disney World hotels!

Room Service!
This was the best wakeup call! We tried the cereal, pastries, and hot coffee, which was super convenient before hitting up the park. The resort doesn’t have a traditional quick service like other Disney resorts, so if you need food before the parks open, this might be your only option.

Our room service!
The room was easily the nicest we stayed in during our time in Disneyland Paris, but it did come with that hefty price tag.

The Art of Marvel Room details
The rest of the resort offers some fun amenities like the Metro Pool!

Metro Pool!
If you forgot your swimsuit, no worries! They had a literal swimsuit vending machine, which blew our minds.

Swimsuit vending machine!
They also had two bars, 2 table service restaurants, and a Marvel Design Studio for kiddos!

The Marvel Design Studio!
The design studio offers a place for kiddos to draw, do Marvel trivia, and watch Marvel films throughout your stay. I

Inside the design studio!
They even had workbooks with games and drawing for you to take home or use during your stay.

How cute!
The Skyline Bar was one of our favorite stops during our stay because the bar faces the “New York skyline,” and we even spotted a few familiar faces flying by.

The Skyline Bar options!
Outside of the resort, you could also spot massive statues of characters like Captain Marvel…

Captain Marvel!
…and Iron Man himself!

He’s larger than life!
This hotel was seriously larger than life, but if we’re being honest, we can’t see past that price tag. The hotel was only a 10-minute walk from the parks, but it was more inspired by the comics than the Marvel films. That means massive Marvel fans can really appreciate the hotel, but not every Marvel fan will love the details.

A New York Cab!
The room was so nice, the proximity to the parks was a big perk, and we loved the art. That being said, would we pay $1,000 per night again? Not necessarily. That does include your park ticket, which was nice, but that price for normal Disney amenities just seemed too steep. If you put this resort to the test, let us know your thoughts!
