Okay, we’ve all visited Disney World and had that moment where we wished we’d had a certain item handy, but didn’t.
The good news is that we’ve been to Disney World so much that we know EXACTLY what you need to escape that feeling. We know what essentials you’ll need for your park bag, as well as essentials you’ll need to pack for your hotel room. So we’ve put together the ultimate list of everything you’ll need for your 2026 Disney World trip.
The FuelRod Portable Charging Kit
You are going to be on your phone a lot in Disney World, so you’ll need a fast, convenient way to keep it charged. We love FuelRod because we just bring this kit, charge our phone, swap out FuelRods at FuelRod stations throughout Disney World, and keep on going. You can even switch it out at some airports, which is so nice! The kit also comes with all the cables and adapters you need to charge all your devices.
The Touchland Disney Hand Sanitizer and Mist Case
We think hand sanitizer is one of those non-negotiables in the parks. And Touchland happens to have our fave. Okay, you might not THINK you need this, but we love how long this hand sanitizer lasts, so you get your money’s worth. The case is reusable, so you can just keep adding more hand sanitizer to it, as needed.
Get the FROGG TOGGS Ultra Lite Poncho
Y’all know we keep singing the praises of this poncho. That’s because there’s a 99 percent chance that it will rain on any given day in Disney World, and this poncho helps us stay dry without being so heavy that it makes us sweat underneath. You know that cling wrap feeling you get with some ponchos? This one doesn’t have it! We also love that it comes in its own bag, so you can tuck it back into that bag when you’re done, and you don’t have to worry about everything else you own getting wet.
The MagicBand+ Multi Charger
Remember the days when you didn’t have to charge your MagicBand? Well, they’re over now that we’re all wearing MagicBand+. You’ll want to charge it every evening, but if you’ve got multiple people in your hotel room, ALL those MagicBands will need charging.
This baby is a LIFESAVER because you can plug multiple MagicBands into it at once.
Hoka 10 Clifton Sneakers
You are going to need a reliable pair of tennis shoes in the parks. We have put these shoes to the test in the parks MANY times, and they always pass the test with flying colors. We’ve walked for MILES in them and our feet stay comfy. These shoes are what we refer to as our “old reliables” and for good reason.
A Disney Autograph Book with a Pen
Don’t wait to get to Disney World before you buy an autograph book. Trust us…you’ll end up paying more than this autograph book on Amazon that comes with a pen. And that’s one less thing you have to hunt down on your trip if you want to get characters’ autographs. This makes it so easy for your littles to get all the signatures they want in one place!
A Mouse Ear Holder For Backpack
You often have to take your mouse ears off, especially for rides, but don’t just shove them into your backpack. This can damage them, and it’s a hassle to get them back out. This super handy ear holder attaches to your bag so you can just quickly attach your ears for safekeeping and then unattach them when you’re ready to wear them again.
Silicone Waterproof Shoe Covers
Remember how we said it will probably rain on your Disney World trip? Well, when it does, do you really want to walk around with wet shoes and socks all day long? You don’t have to. Yeah, these shoe covers aren’t exactly fashion-forward, but they’ll keep your feet dry during those random rainstorms. Trust us, they will save your day.
Get the Dreamegg Portable White Noise Machine
This little baby might not look like much, but it could be the key to you getting good sleep in Disney World. It’s always hard to sleep in a bed that isn’t your own, but a little white noise could be just what you need to doze off. It’s great for those mid-afternoon naps, too. It’s also so small that it won’t take up much space in your luggage. It also has a variety of sounds and volumes. It also charges via USB, which is convenient.
A Handheld Portable Mini Fan
If you’re visiting Disney World when it’s hot, you’re going to want every trick in the book to help you stay feeling cool. Don’t let this tiny fan fool you — it has enough cooling power to make a real difference on those REALLY hot days. Even better, it doubles as a charger and a flashlight.
The Owala Disney Princess Water Bottle
We’ll also tell you that staying hydrated, no matter the weather, is important in Disney World. We highly recommend bringing your own water bottle because there are TONS of water bottle refill stations throughout Disney World where you can refill it. Why pay for expensive bottled water if you don’t have to? Owala is one of our faves, especially the Disney Princess-themed bottles.
