I don’t care that Disney is already starting to sneak in Christmas decorations into the parks — it’s still October, which means it’s still time to celebrate the spookiest holiday of all.

Ready for a drink?

In addition to our love for Halloween, we love seasonal treats, and this special at Paddlefish in Disney Springs is both. Grab your witch’s hat because we have drinks to try!

This is the Witch’s Heart Cocktail for $17 made with Gilbey’s Gin, Creme de Mure, Simple Syrup, Apple Juice, Lime Juice, Fresh Blackberries, finished with a Smoke Bubble. A smoke bubble, y’all!

Filling up the smoke

From the first sip, we knew we had a good one in our hands. Beyond the beautiful presentation with the super fun smoke bubble on top, the drink was light and well-balanced. The smoke was very aromatic, and we loved the color of the deep maroon.

SO pretty

It was very gin-forward, which lent to the dryness, but the fresh blackberries added a unique fruity flavor with a mix of tartness. The apple juice sits on the roof of your mouth, lingering after each sip for another hit of tart and sweet. This is a perfect cocktail for sipping since it’s so light and dry with that forward alcohol taste, so it’s great for grabbing appetizers with friends or for a longer meal.
