Disney just announced that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be closed from November 10th through 13th for some BIG updates.
The ride will be getting enhanced digital visuals, as well as clearer imagery projected in 2D (no more 3D, y’all!). There will also be new props and lightning enhancements in both the queue and on the ride that will be added over the next few months. NEW STUFF, y’all!
Disney previously announced similar changes coming to the version of the ride in Disneyland Paris. There, the queue will feature a new scene of a Parisian artist’s studio “teeming with details and accessories such as canvases on the walls, paint splatters, and a fruit basket that may well whet the appetite of all the adorable rats in the neighborhood.”
The Disneyland Paris ride, though, will be closed a little longer, from now through spring 2026. So be prepared for changes all over the place!
Okay, is it just us, or does it seem like every time we turn around, something ELSE is closing in Disney World?! Right now, in Magic Kingdom alone, an entire section of the park is closed to make way for a new land, and two rides are closed for big updates. We’ve seen similar closures in both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. As you can see, Disney is VERY passionate about making sure things are up-to-date and fresh for new fans.

“….fresh for new fans”????? What about all of us who have been loyal since Day One!!!??? It’s clear that Disney no longer cares about the generations that built the Disney company and have been going to Wdw since it opened! Frankly, the ” fresh new fans” should be learning the history of Disney, its movies about which it was built, and join US in enjoying everything that was wonderful about Walt, his creations, and the traditions we want and expect when going to Wdw! If Disney wants to create new attractions and lands for the younger generations and their movies….most of which we don’t like….there is more than enough land on which to build AND they have the new development people who took over Reedy Creek and have given their approval for a fifth land! Disney should stop ruining what was and create something new in a fifth land. Though….too late now. Disney has ruined itself and turned off a lot of their loyal guests. Let’s hope these new fans have the money and want to be bothered putting g up with all of Disney’s hoops they force people to jump through….
Thank goodness. Ratatouille made me so nauseous! Not worth the long wait.
You know I’m getting really tired of these sudden closures at the very last minute AFTER I check to see what rides will be shut down and AFTER I book everything! This is literally less than a month away and NOW they decide to do this crap! There’s not many rides my mom can go on due to some medical issues but this was one of them. Mickeys PhilharMagic was another one! We’re coming from California and only doing Disney for a couple of days and my mom has never been, so I was excited to be able to take her on some safe rides but they just cut 2 of them.
Understand Disney. Got to made changes to parks.and bring new rides in .to keep people interested.as Beem go to Disney well over 4o times. With mum,who in 80s now still love Disney,as same ride cant go on ones closed ones she likes more. Due to health problems as well . We do miss so much old ride,s in magic kingdom like toon town which for ages.and Christmas lights show in Hollywood Studios Excellent show for ages.now it’s starwars. Miss backlot tour we had for many years if Disney fan would remember these many years ago. Think same magic of magic gone out Disney. Made changes to keep things fresh. But do think people who as needs can’t do same rides gave them something as well please disneywent made new plans as uk traveler
Any news about the Frozen ever after refurbish? Fingers crossed it will be available in the first days of 2026…
I’m looking forward to this. My wife can’t ride the 3D rides due to motion sickness and there’s medical evidence that 3d-ride intolerance increased in the general population who were infected with COVID-19 (we’re still learning things about that virus that make it “novel”). While I loved the 3D version I’m looking forward to the changes, as in the few years since Remy went live, projection crispness and resolution have improved significantly.
