Every time we go to Disney Springs and we’re craving a tasty treat, we always find ourselves at a specific spot. Now, they brought in a special Halloween treat, and we just had to try it!
Trick or Treat Churro Donut
We love going to Sunshine Churros, and we had to go there again when we heard about this new treat. We’re here to give you our full review of it!
Sunshine Churros at Disney Springs is located in the Marketplace, and it’s full of tasty treats. If you find yourself at the Disney shopping district, we highly recommend you check it out. We got the Trick or Treat Churro Donut for $7.99!
Look at this!
The Churro Donut is rolled in chocolate sugar, drizzled with peanut butter and chocolate sauce, and topped with peanut butter chocolate candy pieces.
Trick or Treat Churro Donut
This was essentially a circular churro (a churro donut) topped with everything in the description, so you get what you’d expect. The donut portion was everything you love about a churro in circular form. It had that crispiness to the outside with a thicker shell like a churro.
Here it is!
It was soft and fluffy on the inside. We will say, we think this treat tastes even better when it is slightly melted, as the peanut butter and chocolate turn into a delicious, almost sauce together.
You should try it!
The Reese’s pieces also melted to where they were easy to bite through and had that gooey center. If you love chocolate and peanut butter, this would be a good option. We feel like it was a bit expensive for $7.99; we would much rather go and get the $5.90 Bambolini from Vivoli il Gelato and save $2.
It was tasty!
Overall, we think it’s something you should definitely try since it’s a limited-time item. That being said, it’s probably something we’d only get once since it was on the pricier side. For more food reviews, make sure to follow us at the Disney Food Blog.
