Walt Disney World is called the “Most Magical Place on Earth” for a reason. Since the resort opened over 50 years ago, it’s been a life-defining vacation destination for millions. However, that doesn’t mean it’s perfect.

There are plenty of aspects of Disney vacations that stress us out — huge crowds, long lines, and high prices, just to name a few. Some of these even grind our gears so much that we’re calling for them to be BANNED in Disney World.
Rude Guests
Listen, we totally understand that while Disney World is as magical as can be, things can still be very stressful. And if things start to go wrong, your day may turn sour. That’s very frustrating, BUT it’s never an excuse to be rude to fellow guests or Cast Members.

Stress, paired with the Florida heat, not to mention hunger or thirst if you haven’t grabbed anything to chow down on in a little while, is a terrible recipe for a bad mood. It’s important to know yourself well enough to recognize when you’re too angry or frustrated to regulate your emotions, so that you can take a step back to collect yourself.
Aloha Isle Crowds
Cast Members will typically do anything they can to help you solve your issue if you’re being kind about it. Cast Members can only do so much, though, so don’t get angry at them if your issue doesn’t have an easy fix. They’re just following the rules they’ve been told, and fellow guests around you are trying to have a magical day, just like you. If you feel you may be slipping into rude territory, find some AC and take some deep breaths — there’s no shame in taking a breather!

Balloons During Fireworks
We know many of you aren’t a fan of balloons in general (we have some members of our team who feel the same), HOWEVER we think we can all agree that balloons blocking your view during fireworks is not fun.
Balloons
Balloons are great souvenirs for kids and adults alike, but they float pretty high in the air and can easily block the view of fireworks and castle projections for the people behind you.
You don’t want these in your way!
So if you’ve got a balloon on your stroller, or held in your hand, please remember to lower it as much as you can before the show begins — no one wants their view to be blocked!

I don’t have a problem with high prices, as long as some of the money is going to the first line employees, who deserve to make as much money per hour as the CEO of WDW. Also, Genie+ should be banned. It is worthless and serves to scam money from visitors to WDW.
You left out the biggest problem that causes lots of other problems…BOOZE. It was so much nicer at the parks, especially on weekends, before alcohol was broadly available.
I’d like to add bubble wands in restaurants (or anywhere near food) and in really tight, indoor queues.
I vote to BAN THE BOOZE (it can cause rude guests), and guests with no social etiquette – put some darn clothes on and stop cursing around the little ones. If you want to be half-naked, go to a club. It looks disgusting and sometimes isn’t safe when going of the rides. And I am not an old person (just brought up properly).
Good luck on the balloons. I don’t think that there’s a chance that Disney will change the other issues.
This is controversial, but I’m going to say wagons.
I don’t know how so many get this special accommodation and more than half the time the wagon has stuff in it – not children.
They’re giant and bulky and fall outside the stroller measurement requirement, and most are exploiting disability access for personal convenience.
How about some signs asking people to stop FaceTiming everyone at home so they can see fireworks too? I can’t tell you how many people I have seen do this. They talk through the entire show disrupting everyone else’s ability to hear and experience it. I love my cell phone too- but it was so much better without them at Disney!
I have to agree with banning the bubble wands in restaurants and in the crowd waiting for and then watching fireworks. As for alcohol, a beer or wine with dinner is a wonderful thing. Drinking to excess, not so good.
What needs to be banned is double wide strollers. They have front/back double strollers, but the double wides block a lot more walking space.
Went nearly a year ago in March, and *every* single guest, cast member, hotel staff, and even people just walking past were uniformly smiles and happy. Even when it rained. The off-season is a blessing. I got so much research done for my book, and the cast members had enough slack time to answer so many of my pestersome questions.
Brung back fast passes to be booked 30 days or 60 days ahead of time when you can book do ING at the parks to coincide eith your park say and NO CHARGE for it like before greed took over. Also no park reservations for anyone such as annual passholders and Florida residents
No ETOH in MC
No ETOH in other parks until after 4pm.
Rude people. Here is my favorite example. I had my son’s and 4 of their friends all teenagers. We were trying to eat at Flame Tree. We had our food but could not get a table because grandma had her young granddaughter saving a large table. Be ause they were empty chairs we took a couple so we could. Rowd around a small table.
Grandma came back complaining at me becaue we took their chairs. But they didn’t have their food yet and at the time there were chairs for her and grandchild. I told her we had our food and our group ready to eat and the chairs weren’t being used. I was told I should respect her due to her age.
We were done eating and out of there before their group arrived with food. We had to cram around small table for this overly special guest and her mistaken attitude of importance. And we were the ones that were chastised. I raised my kids to be fairest their is always someone who thinks the rules dont apply to them
Also got i to verbal argument with line jumper at Haunted Mansion. Cast member asked me what happened and talked to jumper about the rules. But then they escorted us to the Front of the queue.
LINE JUMPERS are my biggest headache. I would like to see facial recognition ignition software used to monitor the lines. ” Excuse me ma’am but it appears you passed a large group I the line you need to go back to your appropriate place or leave queue entirely”
I would like them to make getting a DAS pass easier like it used to be. Not the interrogation you have to go through now. Also, it’s not only guests who are rude, but often cast members who need retraining
The balloons blocking parade or fireworks views are bad enough. But not as bad as the inconsiderate ones who put the little ones on their necks, thus blocking everyone else’s view of the event.
Can we add wearing headphones if a child NEEDS to have a tablet at the dinner table? God forbid families actually talk to each other at dinner!
