The coolest experience is coming to Disney Cruise Line, and if you’re like me and have been going back and forth on whether to book a cruise, this might just prompt you to book immediately.
Aboard the Disney Treasure, the Haunted Mansion Parlor honors more than five decades of fandom and introduces the world to the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion saga. Guests will enjoy spooktacular, specialty cocktails themed to the classic Disney Parks attraction and its inhabitants, as well as a variety of Haunted Mansion details from around the world. Haunted Mansion fans are going to freak out over this new announcement because we’re turning into the ghost hunters.
Disney posted a video on Instagram showcasing someone holding their DisneyBand+ close to a door handle in the Haunted Mansion Parlor onboard the Disney Treasure. When the DisneyBand got close, it opened on its own! Was it a ghostly spirit helping us out?
Disney says, “Starting this October, use your DisneyBand+ for a Happy Hunt to find hidden ghosts throughout the ship. Return them to Madame Leota for a swinging wake.” A new scavenger hunt? Sign me up!
Haunted Mansion Parlour
We hope we don’t have to find 999 happy haunted, but with your DisneyBand+ (which is the Disney Cruise Line’s version of a MagicBand), you’ll be able to unlock something special in the lounge.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor is a stunning lounge that takes inspiration from the original attraction but with a nautical twist. There are many hidden details throughout the space that we could have spent hours finding.

This isn’t the first scavenger hunt we’ve seen on the ships. We love the Midship Detective Agency on the Disney Fantasy and Dream, where the Muppets take you to different points on the ship. You end your hunt by visiting the outside Pepe the Prawn King’s own cabin. It’s truly a Muppet lover’s dream.
