Crowds at Cosmic Rewind

This might not be an official holiday, but to Disney, September 21st is a huge celebration all across EPCOT. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind plays “September” by Earth, Wind, & Fire, all day long in honor of the iconic lyrics, and typically, it brings the crowds. Let’s take a look at the crowds for September 21st, 2025, in EPCOT.

Starting us off, park reservations are still available at EPCOT, as of 8:30 AM (which totally means it’s not too late to plan a day to visit). All four parks are available for park reservations, which is a great sign that the crowds aren’t too busy quite yet.

To ride Cosmic Rewind, you can hop in the standby line or purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass, which lets you skip the line only at Guardians of the Galaxy. The Single Pass costs $18 but is already sold out, so if you’re still planning on going, be ready to wait in the standby.

Starting around 9 AM, when the park officially opens, the line was already at 80 minutes. Yikes!

Cosmic Rewind (February 2025)

About 30 minutes later, around 9:30 AM, it had already jumped to 135 minutes. If you’re planning on visiting today, make sure you bring your in-line entertainment and get ready for a long wait.

Queue

Around 12 PM, the extended queue was still very full, keeping the wait time around 105 minutes. An additional part of the queue that was put up to help with the extra crowds was in the process of being taken down, so hopefully the crowds will stay the same or go down till the end of the day.

September 21st, 2025

Later in the day, around 5:30 PM, Cosmic Rewind jumped up again to 175 minutes! That’s an over two-hour wait, and remember, this just gets you into the first preshow room.
