We’re just recovering from Destination D23, which was recently held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Disney World. These events are the biggest Disney fan events of the year, and we always get a lot of announcements about Disney movies, parks, and more.

At Destination D23, Disney announced that the next big fan event, D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Experience, would be held August 14th-16th in Anaheim, CA. However, there’s going to be one BIG change at next year’s event: vendors and collectors will not be offered spaces at the event.
According to Scott Gustin, Disney has sent out a letter to this year’s exhibitors stating that the Emporium or vendor booths would not be available to third party exhibitors in 2026. Note that this does not include official Disney partners like Loungefly or Lug, but third party vendors selling pins, collectibles, etc. Here’s the full letter that Disney sent out:

Responses from fans to the news has been all over the place. While some are disappointed, others understand Disney’s position on this. But it will change part of the show floor (albeit a small part of it). It’s likely Disney will use the space for something else.
Disney has not yet announced ticket details for next year’s D23, nor do we have any further details about what to expect at the event. We’ll be keeping an eye out for more information, though, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
