An ENTIRE DUFFY MONTH Is Coming To This Disney Resort

It’s time for fall at Shanghai Disney!

The Chinese Disney Resort is known for its lovable characters, amazing lands, and rotating seasonal events that keep the fun coming all year long. Now, the popular Disney location is bringing in tons of new events and offerings for the Halloween and Fall season!

It’s time for fall festivities at Shanghai Disney Resort! Disney just dropped a huge sneak peek into the seasonal celebrations starting with Duffy Month! Starting on September 1st, you can celebrate Duffy and his friends all month long.

At Mickey Avenue, there will be photo opportunities like a Duffy-themed floral set and miniature sets to take pictures with your Duffy and Friends plushes! Plus, there will be new outfits for each of the friends, and each will represent a different flower. Duffy has a Camellia theme, and ShellieMay will be a Chinese Rose!

Gelatoni will be wearing a top featuring cymbidium ensifolium-inspired embroideries, and ‘Olu Mel’s outfit is hibiscus-inspired.

StellaLou will be wearing hosta blooms, and CookieAnn’s outfit will feature lotus accessories.

Finally, LinaBell will be styled in a standard jacket and headwear with osmanthus blooms.

Mickey and Minnie will be wearing a “freshly picked outfit” with Hibiscus mutabilis.

Duffy Month is also bringing the return of the show “Enjoying the Moon with Duffy and Friends.” There’s going to be a special edition of the show that brings in elements of the Shanghai Opera that will happen every Sunday beginning on September 7th. This special show will feature a performance of the Duffy Month theme song, “Let’s Get Together,” in front of the Enchanted Storybook Castle.

Duffy fans, this surprises just keep coming! There will be limited-time treats like the Osmanthus Mini Dumpling Crepe with Strawberry Ice Cream and Minnie Mouse Osmanthus Muffin at CookieAnn Bakery Café. There will also be an osmanthus-flavored gelato and ice cream at Il Paperino.

The famous Duffy and Friends Themed Afternoon Tea at the Royal Banquet Hall will be adding new seasonal treats and flavors to the menu! The Autumn Season Brunch at Lumière’s Kitchen will do the same.

And of COURSE, there’s going to be merchandise! There will be two new collections to celebrate. The first is the Mickey and Friends Garden Stroll Collection that will feature plush and plush keychains of Mickey and his pals wearing new outfits featuring blossoms, butterflies, and persimmons. Plus, there’s a new floral-themed headband adorned with laces, ribbons, and pearls.

The other collection is the Duffy and Friends Floral Dream Collection! It will feature their new autumn looks through cross-body bags, headbands, jewelry, and every Duffy and Friends mooncake set and tea set. To round out Duffy Month, the resort will be celebrating LinaBell’s fourth anniversary from September 23rd to September 29th. Duffy Month ends on September 30th.

After Duffy Month, that’s when the ookey spookey kicks in! Beginning on October 4th, Seas the Halloween season kicks off with two new experiences at Treasure Cove. A brand-new show called “Buccaneer Bash,” which will follow Captain Nova and her crew for “an immersive evening of pirate mischief and carnival games.” It will use live performances, interactive activities, games, food, and merchandise. There’s also a new pirate theme at Barbossa’s Bounty with new dishes, although Disney didn’t give more details just yet. These events wrap up on November 1st.

The Disney Villains will be involved in these festivities, and Mother Gothel will be joining them for the first time ever in Shanghai Disney! Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for this mischievous crew around the park or during surprise visits to the Enchanted Storybook Castle balcony.

Finally, Halloween Spook-tacular Days will be for 8 days from October 17th through November 1st! Mickey and his pals, Duffy and Friends, and even Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Woods will debut new Halloween looks. In Zootopia, the “Howl-O-Ween” celebration is also returning.
