Disney Cruise Line fans, we have a new ship on the horizon that is getting ready to set sail, and we got a special look at one of the restaurants.

The NEW Disney Destiny sets sail on November 20, 2025! The Destiny will offer 4- and 5-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean during her inaugural season, with voyages stopping at one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s destinations — Castaway Cay and the new Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. With the Hero and Villains theme of the ship, we will be getting new restaurants, lounges, shows, and more! We got to try some of the food at one of the new restaurants coming: Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King.
Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King is a brand-new dinner and a show coming to the Disney Destiny. It will bring the amazing songs and story to life while you and your family enjoy dinner. Classic music from the movie’s soundtrack, fun, new mashups, and the story of Simba will be performed live by musicians in full The Lion King costumes.

When we went to a preview of the Disney Destiny, we were able to sample some of the amazing dishes that will be served here. We have to say, we were blown away by the flavors and dishes. You’ll find African-inspired cuisine at this restaurant. There was one dessert that we have not stopped thinking about, and we have to tell you about it.

Warm Chocolate Malva Pudding
The Warm Chocolate Malva Pudding stole our hearts. It’s a sticky bread pudding that has a toffee flavor, and if that’s not good enough, they serve it with a scoop of ice cream on top and a wafer. Now, when you sail with Disney Cruise, your rotational dining is included in your price, and you can also order as much as you want from that restaurant. So if you see us on our third Malva Pudding, just know that it is, in fact, THAT good!

There will be so much more aboard this new ship in addition to Pride Lands! Guests can experience a new Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired lounge, Cask and Cannon. Cruella de Vil will get her very own piano bar, De Vil’s Piano Lounge. The first-ever Doctor Strange-themed lounge, the Sanctum, will be devoted to the mystical arts.
